Just ahead of today’s franchise tag deadline, the Giants and QB Daniel Jones reached agreement on a new four-year deal, per sources.

Franchise tag is now available for RB Saquon Barkley.

So #Giants QB Daniel Jones gets his deal, 4 years and $160M with $35M more available in incentives.

Saquon Barkley gets the tag.

40 million per year with a possibility of an additional 35 million for possible max of 4 years 195 million.

Those are incentives.as things go by this time next year he will be around15th in pay.

Maybe in a couple years, definitely not next year. He's currently number 4 behind Dak Prescott and in front of Josh Allen.

I can see Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Kirk Cousins, and Justin Herbert as possibilities to overtake him...but some of those are maybes...

This flash in the pan year of success for the giants and jones and barkely actually being healthy is going to set the giants back for years; espically when jones goes back to himself and SB gets hurt.

I just honestly cannot believe how low the bar is for a quarterback to cash out like that. It is the equivalent of being made sales manager at a ford dealership for selling 15 cars the month prior.
