-15 respect

A clear video of election administrators playing voicemails threatening their lives by nutjobs who all latched onto Trump's bullshit about fraudulent elections and you immediately switch the topic to the guy hosting the show airing their concerns?

Weak as fuck, even for you. Straight out of the conservative playbook though.
Dont try n reason with trumptards. Literally the gop and the trump army of morons doing everything they can to fix the election and we are still in the midst of his Gods big lie which has all these trumptards showing up with guns and threatening people and that fool has the nerve to talk about excuses and people being sore losers. He is so far down the q anon rabbit hole he is never coming up. He is what is known as a lost cause.

There is a difference between crying and trying to start a civil war over a blatant lie. Chicos obliviousness has no boundaries.

Baltimoreskin -- cant vote for the republican comptroller. Got an attack ad against him last night and read up on him a bit

He voted against same sex marriage (thats just religious ideological BS),

voted against raising the min wage (not the worst there, arguments for and against),

voted against proposed law to ban cell phones while driving .. then voted against proposed law to increase MD auto insurance min bodily injury coverage from 20k to 30k .. mostly a no on environmental issues

voted no to allow same sex have hospital visitation/decision making for domestic partners

voted against indoor smoking ban

voted against law prohibiting smoking in cars w kids in it

voted against parole for drug offenders

voted against tobacco tax to fund health care

voted against laws prohibiting the dredging of oyster beds

100% approval rating from Maryland Right to Life ... they want all abortions banned (to be fair, seems any MD republican gets 100% approval from them)

Hogan became gov in 2015.

MD GDP went down each year from 2016 to 2019 .. then Covid hit (not his fault) and numbers plummeted

I voted for Hogan and maryland is doing fine, will always have a good economy .. but hey, who needs facts and statistics when talking politics with a trumper

Is this due solely to its proximity to D.C. and a lot of people working there living in Maryland?

Yes but Id guess VA benefits more than MD from federal contractors. MD has mostly good schools, desirable living, good wages, educated people. Baltimore is a deep port city.

Maryland is just ideally situated in the mid atlantic. We are also one of the biggest chicken producers due to Perdue, grow lots of soy on the eastern shore.

MD could thrive on its own if it was placed in a bubble.

In 2020, 19.3% of the workforce was employed by federal, State and local governments, while 80.7% of workers were employed in the private sector. In 2020, Maryland was fourth in the nation for employment within the federal government, though it ranked first for federal jobs per capita, at 242 jobs per 10,000 residents.

My opinion is that MD will do well as long as we stay normal middle of the road, dont rock the boat ... just keep it medium.
