I understand that. Just hoping for some connections with some better FAs. |

So fucking stupid. |

Yeah, not a very impressive list. I'd take Curtis Samuel, but only after we already picked up A Robinson, Godwin, Golladay, or C Davis. |

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
I think the idea is to provide incentive for clubs to develop minority coaches and executives, rather than rewarding clubs for hiring minority coaches and executives. Who wants to take a new job where the water cooler talk is all about whether you actually deserve the job, or whether you got the job because the team gets two-three draft picks for hiring you. |

For those wondering why K Smith isn't the new GM. He just isn't ready - yet. |
Re: Marty Hurney Thread
So Mayhew is the GM and not Hurney, so much for the cronyism angle huh

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That idea that Ron wants someone who can run interference on Dan seems plausible. Not sure what Hurney's role will be but it sounds like he does not want to handle full GM responsibilities. |

Thought I read somewhere it would be Grand Poobah. |

We’ve been through 4 GM’s since Beathard left and Smith picks have been impressive, the other 4 Casserly and McCloughan were ok, Vinny and Allen should have been recruiting elementary schools. |

Well, I think we have put to bed the idea that Kyle Smith is solely responsible for any of the previous drafts. It is a collaborative effort. No one person is responsible for any draft pick. This feels kind of like the quarterback who gets too much credit for the win last week, and all the blame for the loss this week. |
Re: Marty Hurney Thread
I'd definitely go after Robinson and Samuel. Get them both and we'd go from weak to bad-ass at WR.

Robinson is my number one FA wish list item, after Stafford (really Watson, but I think he will cost too much). Okay so Robinson in 3rd. But still high up there. Talented, class act guy. |

For some reason, Robinson reminds me of Art Monk. |
