Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired
I mean if you read the article it specifically mentions how easy it is for rumors to get around because execs and football players are cramped on the same floor together.
It's time for Danny to bring the team into the 21st century. This includes a modern practice facility with modern improvements.
I would agree. I'd like to see them move downtown or somewhere in Arlington so they feel more part of the city. I remember when that thing was built, I believe right after the 91 SB. Ashburn was barely even on the map. |

I'm thinking maybe that's a reason Dan has settled for small improvements in Ashburn. Property values around here are insane, especially the closer you get to DC. IDC if they stay in Ashburn but they definitely are at a competitive disadvantage compared to other NFL teams. |
Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired
Doc Walker on 980 is just a bit off on his take I believe. He is tearing up saying we lead the league in press conferences and other crazy statements.

Walterfootballs write up of Allen's firing reads like Allen wrote it himself. |
Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired
Eric Schaffer Fired.
WOW. This is shocking. It must mean we're bringing in someone from the outside or that theyre promoting Kyle over him and the two couldn't get along in that scenario. |

Walterfootballs write up of Allen's firing reads like Allen wrote it himself.
I stopped reading after "Cousins has been a huge failure for the Vikings." I wouldn't say Cousins has been worth his fully guaranteed contract but he did get them into the playoffs this year, and luckily for Cousins there are no playoff games on Monday nights. If Cousins does his part moving them deep into the playoffs idk what more you can ask for. Anybody who thinks Cousins could single-handedly take the Vikings to the SB obviously has no concept about what a team sport football is. Back to Bruce Allen, he fucked up not selling Cousins to the highest bidder after Allen had to realize Cousins was never going to sign here. And then he fucked up trading for Alex Smith which spiraled into where we're at today. |

Maybe he was thinking he was in line for a promotion and Rivera didn't want him running the FO. Not sure but this is unexpected. |
Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired
There were rumors that if Schaffer didn't get the position he wanted he'd be out.

If its part of a culture change sometimes you have to take out the deep roots. We do need to see some transperency soon on what the organization chart is. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
I listened to the beginning of Docs show on Monday when all the Rivera and Allen buzz was going on and he started his show just continually lamenting how we almost let the Boys hang 50 on us. I was like "dude, we were playing literal unknowns in the secondary. Guys who will never never ever see the inside of an NFL locker room. We wanted to lose for draft status. I want to hear about Rivera and Allen, not harbor on some meaningless game" Yes, boys putting 47 on us sucks but thats like no. 23 on the list of newsworthy things to cover this past Monday for the Skins. I had to change the radio to Grant and Danny. |
