Re: What kind of production does Doctson need in 2019 to stay with on them team ?
I hate to point this out to you, but a lot of the "starters" didn't play in the Cleveland game. That could mean that he is considered to be a starter. Heaven help us, Gruden is probably planning to start him even though he surely won't be with us next season. That's a Jay Gruden-like thing to do.
I realize that a lot of starters didn't play v. Cleveland, but wr is a super competitive unit this year with the talent present. Share the same notion that it may be a forgone conclusion that Docston starts. I want him to earn it though with Sims, Davis, Harmon, etc hungry to make this team and contribute.

Doctson will start until his pissy attitude combined with one of the other guys stepping up makes it easy to drop him down the depth chart. The other guys are just unproven right now. |

Really wanna see what they can do the next couple preseason games.

I hope that it does not mean that he is the penciled starter over c sims or r davis

There is no chance to get a 3rd in 2020, maybe in 2050 or so. He has one year left on his contract and if he has a good year he will be hard to resign. |

At least, he should be motivated considering he's in a contract year.

Keim said that Josh is having an average camp, the guy just isn't any good

Re: What kind of production does Doctson need in 2019 to stay on them team ?
Gruden didn’t play his starters at WR in the first pre-season game:
Richardson Doctson McLaurin At least Gruden is letting one rookie rise up. Davis has had a very good camp and had an excellent first PS game. If he continues to have this level of PS why wouldn’t he move into Doctson’s spot? Same thing with Cam Sims. Cam is better than Doctson. Harmon is the #6 WR for the team. I just don’t see the Gruden love with Doctson. If he has a great season he’s going to another team. If he has his normal season, he won’t be re-signed. There are younger, bigger, cheaper, faster and hungrier WR on the team NOW. They should be moved up over Doctson. As George Allen used to say: the future is now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Doc may not make the team. I think his roster spot is in trouble. His value right now is probably a 6th rounder, maybe.

Keim said last year they called around...nobody wanted him. |

Yeah, last year the redskins had one of the worst WR crews in the NFL. If we don’t want him, who would? Gruden can’t talk him up enough to get any interest. Another first round draft pick down the drain. I don’t think he will survive the PS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
