we lost the Chiefs game because Doctson dropped the game winning TD more so than the stop, and we couldn't stop the run once everyone and their mom got hurt
It should not have came down to having a so so wr who catches 1 or 2 balls a game. Games were lost because the Redskins defense was like the worst in the last 2 minutes of the halfs. What does that tell you? Can't stop someone during the most important part of the game. I'd rather the Redskins overpay for someone who can help close a game out with a sack, not a 40 catch wr. Hope it pans out, I'll be rooting for the guy, but I've seen this rodeo before and it really never works out. |

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I think the contract he got was fair. I could see why we could've paid him the same but also why we didn't. Moreau was drafted to be a starter on the outside. We can sign an Aaron Colvin type FA or draft a guy to man the slot. Good for Breeland but we can patch that hole. |
Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
Good for Ryan Grant. Ravens are fools for giving him that kind of money but happy for that guy.

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
Watching NFL Networks 10 worst free agent signings of all times. # 1 is the whole Redskins franchise. Lol, and I can't even disagree.
We WERE so bad they're just listing guy after guy after guy. Cold blooded. Man, we are great fans lol. Note - it originally aired in 2013. |

Putting the ball game away early means not having the game come down to a last ditch effort by the defense to stop the other team, but yes, it is nice to have that guy who can rush the QB and get that last minute sack or INT. |
I'd have paid Breeland that deal, Is it just me?
Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I would not have. Given that the deal he is getting will result in a compensatory pick in 2019, I would have let him walk too. He was inconsistent for us. I'd prefer to give Moreau a shot, a guy blessed with more physical tools. We have $21M in cap space remaining. We should not have burned up $8M of it on Breeland when we have a pretty talented guy capable of starting on the ascent. The team is right to pursue Richardson. There are very, very few speed guys on the market who can threaten a defense deep. That's a skill set we flat out didn't have on the roster. But other than that, day 1 free agency is where salary caps go to die. The team is right to be patient and bargain hunt to fill out the rest of the needs. If they don't sign anybody for the rest of this week, it's a good sign. Remember, we got Zach Brown 3 weeks into the process last year and we got him for peanuts. We need 4 or 5 of those signings between now and April 1. |

Also, the office aren't trying to win free agency wars anymore. I have to say, I'm quite impressed with Redskins FO so far although, I'm curious to see how they will handle RB situation since this area is something we have been lacking ever since Portis retired. |
