I'll take the mantle for worst gameday poster lol. Beer and Skins losing, and I lose all my sensibilities. But man, winning is sweet.

Lol. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. I would be better off not touching my phone during the games. |
Re: 'No doubt about it,' Redskins need to upgrade at running back
Would you be upset if they dropped back to around 23, then missed him because they dropped back to get some an extra pick?
I wouldn't but I do want Guice bad. I think he will make it to 20 bo problem but then again no one thought that Dalvin Cook would make it to 40 last year so you really never know. |
Re: 'No doubt about it,' Redskins need to upgrade at running back
I would recommend revisiting your thinking, I've listed the last 5 drafts several times in various threads. They all have been solid through the first 5 rounds. I don't think you can ask for better than that.
2nd's Ryan Anderson (2017) too early Sua Cravens (2016) Physical talent, head case, we will see Preston Smith (2015) He's a defensive starter Trent Murphy (2014) Defensive starter for 3 years and earned a nice FA contract David Amerson(2013) 2 year starter, 3 for Oakland
How many of those guys are going to see a second contract with the Redskins? To build through the draft, you need to draft good players and resign/keep them! Out of curiosity, how would you rate Perines draft value? Considering the title of this thread, I think he was a wasted pick. |

The players rhat were selected are still having success in the NFL talentwise. So that was wrong. I could have done 3rd and 4th rounds to prove you even more wrong. The Skins drafts have been talent filled for the past 6 years. As for Perrine, he is no Kareem hunt but he isn't Trent Richardson either 31 other teams picked in the 2nd round some shined some are off their teams active squads and most are still figuring out NFL speed. That's why you don't grade drafts for 3 years. And Allen's 3-6 year draft record talent wise is damn good. |

I want to see what Perine does behind a healthier offensive line this year. There's hope for him yet, but having said that, I do hope the 'skins upgrade that position. |
Re: 'No doubt about it,' Redskins need to upgrade at running back
Don't be surprised if they do, it's obviously a high priority for the team.
Yeah, I won't be surprised if they do. I'm just hoping they don't. |
Re: 'No doubt about it,' Redskins need to upgrade at running back
If CJ Anderson is cut by Denver he would be a solid FA target. He's still under contract, so the Skins could consider trading for him so they wouldn't miss on him in FA.

Cravens for Anderson? RB for DB worked out before :) |

I was thinking more along the lines of a future 7th round pick for Anderson. |
Re: 'No doubt about it,' Redskins need to upgrade at running back
Cravens for a pastrami sandwich and a 6th rounder and its a deal. I don't want anyone elses retread running back. Get Guice, Michel, Penny, Chubb, or Ronald Jones.

He ran for 1000+ yds last year and is 27. |
