Re: Skins 38 Cowboys 31 post game thread
The Redskins showed explosiveness in the first half and resiliency in the 2nd half. What a great win for this franchise. We should be very proud of these players!
Haha, the Redskins just beat the Cowboys, I'll allow it lol. Man, seriously, is there anything better in life than beating the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in their building? I submit that there is not.
Considering I have been a fan since 82 and none of us have ever seen it, we'll no. The MNF game in 05 was the greatest thing I have ever seen. This is close. Second quarter of the 87 Super Bowl was perfectly amazing. The second quarter today was very close to that. So happy for our guys and all of us. |
Re: Skins 38 Cowboys 31 post game thread
I mean on a serious note: RGIII has to be at least on the fringes of the MVP discussion right now right? Is there a MORE valuable player?
|
Re: Skins 38 Cowboys 31 post game thread
The Redskins will build a better O line to protect RGIII and he will be a terror for the rest of the league. The Skins are going to go on a 10-15 year playoff run. Good time to be a Skins fan!
I thought that Hall not running it in showed restraint. A quality he has lacked in the past. For that reason I liked it a lot!
Restraint is not slapping Dez Bryant (even though i enjoyed it), or not shoving an official. Restraint is not un-scoring to make it a non- 14 point lead with 14 seconds left. I thought he was showboating at first and it was alittle to close to being a ball slapped out of hand situation. Miracle of the meadowlands. Tampa bay vs Giants situation? I know all slim chances but a 14 point lead with really no time left is zero chance. And yes 44 deezel - stick it up the cowboys asses if given the chance! |
The answer to the question "Does Garcon make us better when he is on the field?" a resounding Yes!
No question. Any doubters left? |
Re: Skins 38 Cowboys 31 post game thread
If it wasn't exactly the "right" play at least it was an attempt to make a brilliant strategic play. He tried to right and gave up some stats for what he thought was smart. Can't blame him on that. This is a pointless discussion. We won. Be happy.
|
Who isnt happy? You say it was rite i say it was wrong? Just because we won and im elated doesnt mean i cannot question the move he made.
Edit: giving up stats for the better of the team is falling down on an int instead of running and risking a fumble when u can give the ball to the offense to take a knee. In this circumstance I think scoring was the rite move for the team or for his stats. |

But I agree those 2 deep bombs to Moss to win that game were sweet. But I give the tiebreaker to this one because it was on Thanksgiving day, and we were 0-6 against them today before this game. |

I see no real difference from non-drunk firstdown. |

You know, I had a huge assortment of painstakingly prepared foods today: ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, roles, mac and cheese, stuffing, cake, pie, pudding, cookies, you name it .... but I have to say the most delicious thing of all was those Dallas fans' tears.
