Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
I hope the wizards get the number one pick next year because similar to this years NFL draft, this nba draft doesn't really have a great player at the top of the draft. But next years nba draft should have Andrew wiggins who is supposed to be the best high school player since lebron James by pretty much every scout, and a couple of Kentucky freshmen that will be good as well. Just like next years NFL draft with clowney being the next great number one pick. But it will probably be the lakers since the draft is probably fixed.
It all came to be because the San Antonio Spurs tanked and lost games on purpose to get Tim Duncan. Stupid as it maybe, it kept teams from tanking their seasons. Luckily I don't like the NBA enough to care, but if the NFL ever went to this system I would be pissed.
Didn't the Griz and Celts have the best chance to get Duncan that year?? The process is stupid but the lottery was in place well before the Duncan draft. Not to mention the Spurs lost David Robinson for most of the season that year. |
Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
I really hope the Pacers beat the Heat in game 7. Especially with Lebron James running around like a child when he elbows some one in the face and gets called for it. But in the end I do think Miami will win. But people were definitely wrong calling this team one of the best teams of all time. And comparing this team to the Lakers with Shaq, or Jordan's bulls.

Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
I have actually watch this series after saying the NBA was dead to me. God I hope the Pacers win. Probably wishfully thinking as we all know NBA is WWE spelled wrong. Probably all ready determined who has won the championship.

Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
I hate the Spurs. They are like the Steelers of the NBA of recent. Therefore I want the Heat, because I am very confident in the Heat beating the Spurs. I'm not confident in the Pacers beating the Spurs.

Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
Is it too late to draft Paul George over John Wall?
Pacers all the way tonight |
Spurs win either way IMO, kinda sucks because If Russ didn't go down I believe we would have beat SA again but o well.

Re: 2012-13 Around the NBA thread
Watching the Spurs play is like watching 1950s basketball with the pale-sick white guys with high socks dribbling around in a circles and shooting underhand at the foul line. Superboring.
Its sad at the begining of the year in the NBA season every year I can successfully pick the final 2 teams who will makeup the nba finals. |

And it basically was. NBA really needs to work on changing some things because the league is becoming to obvious, im a thunder fan and I still think it would be a better league with more parody like the NFL |
