Woman designed themed sandwiches to all 50 states (or she's still in process of completing them all). She was on the money with NC's pulled pork sandwich...lol

If you can get to Gaithersburg in a reasonable amount of time.....TRY this
Roy's Place
Been there since like 1970. Has 200.....Killer sandwiches. The original Roy owned it until he died a couple of years ago. I have had them ship me the occasional Raunchy Raymond or Sweet Lorraine on dry ice to Tx or S. Fl depending on where I was living at time.

Boy that is a robustly shaped man. I don't see how people can live like that.

^ What is grosser the fat guy or the kid with his mouth open next to his arm pit?

Re: Guilty Pleasures: Food

That crevice is not his arm pit though...it's just a sweaty roll.

I don't understand how any adult can allow themselves to get anywhere near that point.

I know with my infant daughter who has some healthy baby rolls...you gotta keep those crevices clean or they get all sticky and nasty and can get sore...keeping up with that as an adult...gross.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, they don't all keep up with their cleaning. :puke:

OK, back to food.

A lady at the office brought me a greasy paper bag of some of the most amazing french fries I've ever had yesterday. They were like boardwalk fries from a beach with the skins on and peanut oil.

That was a great surprise.

Nice. There's another place near my job called Burger Delite, and their burgers are delicious, and they taste similar to Five Guys'. Their fries are excellent too, they use the huge crispy fries and they put the right seasoning on them. For only 5 bucks you can get a burger and fries, and it's about 7 total if you buy a drink too.

I'll 2nd this. I used to live a few minutes from Roy's. Great food. But it's at least an hour each time we'd go because it would take us at least 15-20 minutes to decide what to eat.

We picked blueberries at Welcome to Butler's Orchard | A Family Farm Providing Good, Green Fun & Local Produce for 60 Years for the first time this past Sunday, and I have to say they are way tastier from the source than buying them in the store. Picked 12 lbs of them, most of which hit the freezer. Some of them went into a blueberry pie that we ate on Sunday, and then my kids have scarfed the rest we didn't freeze. Gonna have to grab a bag out of the freezer soon...

The Cuban burger from The Burger Joint might be the greatest/most evil invention ever. It's basically a really good burger on a really well made bun combined with a Cuban sandwich (my favorite). It's got to be over 1k calories, especially combined with their great fries, but it's so worth it.
