I really think the NFL needs to make Williams an example, since they didn't have the balls to do it with Bellichick. With all of this hoopla about player safety and as much sh*t they've given the players, it is time for the coaches to get disciplined.
I agree. So long as it's not anyone currently employed by the Redskins. |

No, I've said it time and time again. I like RGIII. I too would hope the Skins get RGIII. My main issue is giving up the several picks to get him. I know there is a pretty chart with #'s regarding how much each pick is worth, but to me those picks could give us valuable players. If they do go out and get him they definitely need to go out in FA and pick up some top quality WR's and hopefully a RT from somewhere. I think the rest of the spots needed could be picked up with the late draft picks we would have left OL, FS, CB, LB. Honestly I'm just getting tired of all the QB blubbering. It's like thats all we need on this team, but it's not. I, you , and everyone else here can talk till we are blue in the face but it's not gunna matter or make a difference to what the Skins have planned or what they are going to do. and no matter what they do some of us will be dissapointed or happy. In the end I just want whoever the team takes to be successful. |
Downside- His learning curve is a little steeper after playing out of a shotgun-heavy spread offense. His comletion percentage is misleading due to a lot of shorter throws.
Oh you mean like in the TCU game where he had 350 yards passing, 5 TDs and more long bombs completed than you can shake a stick at? That kind of shorter throw?! |
Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
The big question now is did our players who came out talking about the $$$ handed out here ruin the whole trade deal between the Skins and the Rams who currently have GW as DC? One would think they would be upset at the attempt to get their DC in trouble with the NFL. lol.

:( I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just passing on what was in my "NEW" draft magazine. There was positives you could be proud of, there were negatives I think were fair, and the bottom line was positive and truthfull. Don't hate the messenger hate the message. |

Very slippery slope to go past the last league year... where do you stop? And do you investigate other cases of players such as Roy Williams with his infamous horsecollaring? |

Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
This whole story is frustrating. Coaches have to motivate players. These are grown ass men who get paid to play a game. Somtimes they need additional encentive. Im okay with players getting a bonus for performance made by team members. Not injurying players but making great plays.
Washington Post is some punk a$$ Biotches! They couldn't wait to link the Redksins to this story... They really need to get over their hate for Snyder. |

Ah so it's 44, XXVI, and NC who have chosen to take on the world. In all seriousness though it's not just about the numbers. The ease in which he completes deep passes is scary. Maybe even scarier then his speed. It's like while he was at Baylor every 4th or 5th pass went for more then 20 yards and we're not talking screens and slants that went for big gains, I'm talking about streaks, out and ups, comebacks, post, corners etc. The big boy throws. |

I'm actually all in on RGIII. I just understand why why some people have concerns. So many sure things have gone on to fail in the NFL. I hope we get him, and I hope our long national nightmare ends;). I just wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't pan out. No one should. |
