Thanks for getting that typo GM, I fixed the original, but can't fix your response. Hope Matty doesn't mind. I don't want to be benched again this season.

We cant afford to lose this game. We come out running the rock and Portis rumbles for 160 yards on 32 carries.

G-men win partly because we are still sorting out our new offensive system and it will be a night full of emotion because the Giants are going to be at home for the first time since they won the Superbowl.
I remember the last time we played in a oppenents emotional game. Brunell throws two bombs to Moss to win the game
Redskins 14
Cowboys 13

Why was that an emotional game for the Cowboys? It was very early in the season - Week 3-Sept. 19th I think. Sure, Skins-Cowboys is a big rivalry, but there was no reason for that game to be more emotional for Dallas than any other vs. the Skins.

Actually, the last time we played an opponent dealing with any type of significant emotions other than the game itself was.... against the Giants in the Meadowlands. Their owner Wellington Mara had just passed away, and the Giants came out and kicked the shit out of us 35-0.

Considering that they lost two players that contributed 21 of the teams 53 sacks, do you feel that their pass rush is really all that much better than ours?

GO Skins
Let me ask you this. If no one was going to predict against the Skins no matter what, then what would be the point of this exercise?

Well if your going by preseason then its our favor. We beat the Jets and they lost to the jets. We win by one point.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions

The Giants typically start slow, and they have had a decent amount of turnover this offseason. Losing both starting DE will hurt them more than people expect. I see the Redskins winning a close and physical game by relying on the running game. The defense will play a strong game despite allowing a good amount of points. Although if Landry and Taylor don't play the Redskins probably will not win the a divisional game on the road.

Redskins 27
Giants 24

With a damn heavy heart and the sincere hope of being wrong... 42-13 Giants.

Sure, their defense will not be as dominant, but I think people underestimate the Giants' offense now. Eli will be an elite QB this year and throw for a ton of TDs. Meanwhile, our offense continues to struggle behind JC and opposing d anticipating the same old rushing attack.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions

The giants won the super bowl mainly because of their pass rush (Strahan and HumanUrine) Where are they now? We should have beat them twice last year. I hope our team has more confidence than what I'm hearing here. GO SKINS! Rip em a new one!
