I love it. (NOT a Jets fan is an understatement!)

I'd love to see Landry light up Sanchez in practice, trying to prove he's healthy...and both players end up with injuries...leaving Tebow as the starter.

Great pickup for them. Sit down Marion Barber.

I agree. On both points. Very good signing for them. Couple buddies of mine are huge Bears fans. They are happy.

The bears have made some pretty strong moves this off-season. Now, if only they'd fix that line, they might actually get somewhere...
Has a single favorite landed a player this off-season? I mean lets look at this shall we?

Matt Flynn - Dolphins: Ends up with Seahawks

Peyton Manning - Redskins and Dolphins: Picks Denver after narrowing down choice between Denver, Tenneesee, and San Francisco

Robert Griffin III - Browns: Redskins "outbid" Browns for 2nd overall pick

Tim Tebow - Jacksonville, New England, Miami: Goes to the Jets

Mario Williams - Anyone but Buffalo: Goes to Buffalo

Vincent Jackson - Redskins and Bears: Goes to Tampa

Carl Nicks - Stay with Saints?: Goes to Tampa

Eddie Royal - Redskins: Signs with Chargers

Seriously can anyone think of one free agent that signed with a new team he was projected to go to?
I think this is par the course when people make projections about who is going to hire who.

But what is more fascinating and worth looking at is why folks made most of these projections: they were either made based on "connections"/networking or reputation, i.e Redskins land every Tier 1 (BIG ONES) free agent under the sun.
Now, I think we did land RGIII precisely because Jeff Fisher might have had a subconcious inkling to help his buddy out, so for once, networking did play a role for us.

Jets management lacks even the slightest clue about how to develop a young QB. If I were an oddsmaker, I would say that there is a better chance that Tebow will finish the season as the Jets starter than there is that Sanchez will.
It's Sanchez's job to lose. Jets probably intend to use Tebow to replace some of Brad Smith services because...last year's intended replacement did not do that well.

Besides, Sanchez should worry more about his already-wrecked relationship with Santonio Holmes moreso than what Tebow is going to do to him...and he should start milking Sparano's brain on how to get better almost immediately.

Ryan should call an open QB competition. Winner takes starting positon. Maybe it will light a fire under Sanchez and he will work harder and perform harder.

Would you think that low enough to hurt #59's asking price?

It probably speeds up the process considerably.

This greatly favors the Redskins.

I saw 5/35 for some reason. 5/25 is what Fletcher signed for in 2007.

No to Cedric Benson. We're gonna draft a RB anyways. Shanny always does.
