Wow talk about two crushing injuries -- Santana Moss and London Fletcher. Those are the only two guys you can count on week after week.

Shanahan just said Moss is out minimum one game and probably more with a broken hand. Fletcher has a hamstring injury and nobody knows what kind of a timetable that can be.

Paulson stepped up nice as the replacement for Cooley. Hankerson needs to step up or the team needs to bring up the other WR they put on the PS. Austin has done well but I hate the we need 5-7 yrds and the WR only goes out 2 yrds and gets stuffed. Austin should have gone 7 yrds on his run instead of only going 2 or 3 yrds and getting stuffed.

I totally agree with YAC but when your 3rd and whatever the WR needs to get beyond the 1st down marker and the QB needs to throw to someone beyond the 1st down marker.
I agree with all that except the Bills game. They're scary good. Under dog team. And we're playing them in NY. We couldn't beat a crappy Panthers team, we're not gonna beat a rising Bills team.
Fred Jackson and Frank Gore are going to run all over our defense.

We're playing them in Toronto, not like it makes a difference though.

Fletch is out?
Hmm, honestly, I did.

My List:
Giants- win. we suprise them. (done).
Cards- win. their not that great. (done).
Cowboys- loss. their house. (done).
Rams- win. their not that great. (don).
Eagles- win. our house. (fail).
Panthers- win. new QB. not a good team. suprise. (fail).
Bills- win. their not there yet.
49ers- win. no QB. rookie HC.
Dolphins- win. they just suck.
Cowboys- win. our house.
Seattle- win. Seattle sucks.
Jets- loss. Play off team.
Patriots- loss. play off team.
Giants- loss. their house.
Vikes- win. McNabb...nough said.
Eagles- loss. their house.

I could see 11-5. That was a big cushion so if we started losing games we'd have room. What needs to happen now is we need to:

Beat the Cowboys at home.
Beat the Eagles away.
Beat the Jets to make up for one of the other losses.
Beat the Giants in NY to make up for one of the other losses.

and stay the rest of the course with the other teams. the Bills, 49ers, and Seattle will be tougher then expected.

I said at the beginning of the season I could see 11-5 but 10-6 or 9-7 was a better number. I felt this is a better team then 8-8.
So after watchig this team for 6 weeks what makes you think Buffalo and the 49ers are wins? I bet we drop one of those games. Also at Seattle is not an automatic win. Tough place to play. We're simply not good enough to walk on the field and beat anyone.

I'd seriously take a look at T.O. and possibly think about a 10 game contract and review how he does to see if he's worth keeping. or just don't resign him because we all know about T.O.'s second year anywhere.

Just read on twitter that Austin may have had to play QB if Beck had gone down. That's crazy.

Our problem is not stopping the run. The Skins have done well the first part of the season. It has more to do with having a really good RB and a QB who can run for yrds (ie; Vick, Newton). The team can't cover both for some reason.

I disagree. Perfect time to get Riley on the field and start playing. Time for Paul, Hank and Austin to get more time. These are players that are the future, not Moss and Fletcher.

He's been doing it to everyone in the defense of the defense.

There's always a bad taste in your mouth after a loss, but I don't see how it's a given that we walk away with wins against Buffalo, San Fran, Seatte, or the Cowboys. Everything else sounds about right. There might be an unexpected win somewhere in there.

Clipboard Jesus stunk it up for Seattle today, so who knows.
