Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I say trade him to the Texans forTytus Howard 23rd overall 1st round pick LT plus a draft pick, Redskins throw in Williams and Doctson.
Doctson? Seriously? What trade value does Doctson have on a team that already has Hopkins and Fuller? Don't make H-town a dumping ground just because Doctson is a bust. |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
The Patriots 1st is basically a 2nd rounder considering it will be 30-32. Sorry but Trent is worth more and the Skins are right in holding out for more.
And yeah, F Florio. Dude has always been a pencil neck d-bag.
The Redskins should counter with a request for a first and 3rd.(NE's pick).NE has 4 third-round picks. Deal done. |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I’m drunk as piasss. Fuck Florio I hat3 that motherfucker, the fact nbc gives him a platform is horseshit

Patriots are no longer pursuing their TW per the article
Makes sense, they offered a 1st, the Skins said it's not enough, the Pats moved on. But now a late 1st rounder is the floor in any ongoing negotiation IMO. I don't know that we get a projected high 1st. But maybe a late 1st+, or several 2nd/3rdish picks. |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
We will wind up without Trent, and without a first round pick period. We are the Redskins! (Said in a spartan voice).

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
This is a game of high stakes poker. I suck at poker, so I'm gonna hold off on making making any rash comments until this is resolved. Just sucks that this stems from something outside of actually playing football.

Reports disputing NE trade offer:

The Pats are bargain hunters when it comes to trade partners. Only the Redskins would leak something that was obvious BS. |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Of course the Patriots are going to deny it. I believe Finlay and Sheehan.

It's time to shit or get off the toilet for Trent, he needs to understand that the skins hold the cards. Come back or lose $ up to him
|
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
A lot of great players are drafted at the end of the 1st round. A lot of them. You can draft Trent's replacement at the end of the 1st round next year.

Reports for months have been that he does understand and is willing to lose the money. That said, I think if we don't trade him, eventually he will show up. |

But is he actually serious about losing $11M this year? I don't believe so. I won't believe it till I see it. |
