Re: Around the NFL week 4
just been out trolling on the eagles and cowgurl blogs and man is it hilarious. One common theme among the blogs is they both lost today, but they "were the more talented team." This comment shows up multiple times on both blogs.
The trend on the cowboys blog is Romo apologists are out in full force defending against the Romo haters...its funny to read how some people are somehow blinded by Romo and think he is seriously a top quarterback right now. The eagles blog is just full of anger which is just hilarious and are much less cordial towards one another. Andy Reid is hated by many...they wont stop about his wieght and looking like a walrus. Its really entertainning. Another thing is apparently Nnamdi hasnt been living up to the hype as "shutdown." interesting. |

Both teams think they are supremely talented, just missing that chutzpah that makes successful teams. |

Deion Sanders : "It's you just take the blame" - on Romo. Damn ahahahaha

And that's with Flacco missing a couple of deep throws to Torrey Smith. |

Re: Around the NFL week 4
Looks like the Jets' rookie center went to the Phil Costa School of Snapping the Ball
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
All I can say is Karma is a biotch. lol. I was sooo hoping the already named SB "Dream Team" would fail and not live up to its billing just to shut up all the media pundits. Thank god it's happened.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Man refs are blowing calls today. They just missed a clear roughing the kicker call that would have given the Jets a first down.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
I still think Philly makes the playoffs. Don't know why, because they sure aren't looking like it.
If I may, I've noticed that you've hardly heard about Vick playing with a bruised hand or whatever. Why do I have the feeling if it were Tony Romo playing with a injured hand requiring a special glove, the media would be riding his nuts talking about courage. I just don't get it. |
Re: Around the NFL week 4
I dunno, I heard several times today how Vick was playing with a Kevlar glove. I think you guys hear what you want to sometimes when it comes to the Cowboys.

Re: Around the NFL week 4
Jets are getting destroyed.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Makes you feel warm all over..........
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
LOTS of Defensive scoring tonight
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Flacco is letting the Jets stick around.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Some horrible QB play tonight, yuck
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Baltimore's D/ST has 32 freaking points if we're going by Yahoo's default scoring. Yuck.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
I thought the Sanchise would be playing better this year, even take that next step up to average/above average QB. Well guess not.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Skins need more INTs. Pretty good in the sack and FF categories though.

The poor soul is stuck in netural. He's like a crappy version of Tony Romo. |

Their offensive line is in shambles, which means not much of a running game and no protection for Sanchez. |

Goes to show how difficult it is to field an "elite" O-line for an extended period of time in the FA era. |
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Hmmm, maybe a "History that has been made" thread needs to be started, as the B'more/Jets game has had the most return TDs in NFL history.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
I hope Baltimore drops at least 45 points on the Jets just so i can enjoy that Rex post game press conference. So far Jets look like a bunch of chumps this year, eff'm.

No doubt. I can't stand the Ryan boys, and I love seeing their BS bravado get kicked in. Sanchez is overhyped, too. My closest friend is a huge Jets fan and hates the Skins. We're going to the Jets-Skins game together at FedEx later in the year. That should be interesting. He told me he's gonna wear his Sanchez jersey. I hope Kerrigan and Rak beat him into the dirt that night. |

Well Mangold is hurt and Damien Woody retired. Those are two big components of that line. |

Boy if only there was someone to step up and create a thread... :D |
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Baltimore is just calling the stretch run to the right every time now and just killing the Jets' D-line. Jets are doomed to mediocrity this season.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Yeah this hasn't been the offensive showcase it wasn't hyped up to be either lol.
Sanchize 8 for 23: 112 yards and a pick, 3 fumbles lost, 2 returned for touchdowns Flacco 8 for 28: 142 yards and a pick and a fumble lost. |
Re: Around the NFL week 4
Baltimore drive is now 6:30. Only runs have been called. I would love it if our O-line could dominate like that and if Kyle would even try to do that.

I think they'll be a different team once Mangold returns. As bad as they look today it would not surprise me if they beat the Pats next week. |

So was Sanchize lol. Just a bad showing by two supposed upper tier QB's. Boy the Sanchize has regressed this season. Flacco's not bad but he's definitely not playing good this game. |
