Much cheaper and easier to revamp the uniforms vs a total rebrand. Could be a solid way to meet in the middle on all of this. Just my speculation. It’s not like the uniforms were well received either.

In the end I could really care less about what the team is called. Just win.

^ This. The name will likely never be what we all want so why abandon the team colors? Reconfig the design but burgundy and gold are gospel and should not ever be ditched.

Between Jordan and Snyder it really proves you can buy a major league sports team, fuck it up at every single opportunity, be a top 5 losing team for 20+ years and still walk away with 3-5 times what you paid for the team years ago.

To avoid controversy The D.C. Football Lakers colors will be purple and gold.

Not sure the Vikings would appreciate that. And the ant there a 5 year wait period between rebranding? I’d bet the owners/league would waive it as a “let’s wash the stink of Snyder” effort.

Keep the colors. Lose the Steelers and Gamecocks unis. Go with Wolves [emoji191] or Redwolves. Fight any trademark issues. Let’s go.
