Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
Why should he retire? He went 12-4 this year and put up his usual 4000 yards and had a 3:1 TD/INT ratio.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To me it looks like father time is finally starting to over take him. Given he hasn't had much help, but this year the first half of the season and second half were vastly different. We are all well aware of how the Patriots have been in the second half of seasons under Belichick and Brady. They finished 4-4 with a first round play-off loss this year. Very uncharacteristic, if you look at Brady's game stats there is an obvious downward trend as the season wore on. |
Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
He can no longer elevate a 2nd rate supporting cast, but he can still play. He’s not retiring.

Htown...sorry bud, I dislike Houston, but Watson is an effing baller
I think it is pretty amazing how he can talk 100 miles an hour without pausing to breathe. I don't know if TV commentators chatter more than ever or I am just finding it more annoying as I get older. I remember the great Chick Hearn would apologize for talking too much to the TV audience if a game was simulcast on radio. I doubt that would ever happen these days. |

Saints and Squawks for me

Cousins and Russell Wilson for me

Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
Now that Brady is done, all I need is the Eagles and Seahawks eliminated and I'm happy with whoever wins.

I think he won a game against a guy he knew real well, and a team who just lost to Miami and is a shell of their former selves. |
Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
I have no doubt that total JAG Cousins will snatch defeat.

Vikings D is so good

Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
For the most part the Vikings call plays to get first downs. You can't play that game with the Saints. The Saints are trying to give the game away and the Vikings are calling run plays on 2nd and 17. Playing not to lose means you lose.

Re: Around the League Wildcard Week
Entertaining game. KC hasn't made any flubs. Vikings D definitely played well enough to win.
