The pick 6 was simply two guys that were not on the same page. The QB threw the ball so he takes the blame, but it looked like Smith threw to a spot and expected Reed to be there and he wasn't.
I found it interesting that once Colt came in, Reed and him clicked immediately. |

Yeah just the disappearance of Reed in general has been strange to me. |

It’s called being familiar with the offense, that why I wanted Colt in there. Smith was on his 1st year with this offense and learning. |
Re: Texans Postgame
Reed's effort on that INT was a bitch move tho, he just stood there. Dude go hustle at least

I brought that up yesterday right after it happened, but got no comments. It looked like he gave Alex the "what was that?" look instead of paying attention to the interception and reacting accordingly. |

Yep and then let the slowest mfer ever return it 101 yards. |

Keim had a good article on him last week http://www.espn.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/37670/jordan-reed-still-dealing-with-the-pain-along-with-new-tactics |
Re: Texans Postgame
So here is a legit Q,
Do the skins bring in Colin Kaepernick? I mean who else is out there????
That's just what we need is the media circus that would come with CK. Thats why no teams have picked him up. |

I'd rather have him over Sanchez or Bradford |

And you know who is showing up the game too...its a short drive for the Bigly Man on Campus. |
Re: Texans Postgame
0.0% chance Kap gets signed here

Re: Texans Postgame
I actually am more for CK than I first was. First, it would create political correctness media spasms and that's always fun, the racist nickname skins are bringing in the sJw CK? We might actually get positive press for a minute or two.
Second, we aren't asking him to play right away, in fact if Colt stays healthy he likely never sees the field, but if he does hopefully he will have a few weeks to get ready. Sanchez would be my next option, but ugh. |

Kaepernick has a lot more baggage and issues over and above the media circus. I detailed some of them in another thread. He also has been out of the NFL for just shy of 2 years. He was also branded some one who did not work hard on his deficiencies, interested in mostly on strength and fitness drills, not the mental part of the game. He is the last person that could come in and quickly pick up an offense. It was well known that Jim Harbaugh ran a limited playbook because of Kap. |

I'm just not buying that excuse anymore. We have too more QBs in the league coming in and immediately putting up numbers. Adam Theilan didn't need a lot of time with Cousins. Like Jay said prior to the season, the team is built and the expectation was for Alex to come in and lead in the QB position. |
