He was among the best down field, so I can see why Quinn was able to own the underneath so well. |
Re: Draft grades
Yeah that makes sense, and it works out perfectly for Redskins since we have Richardson and Doctson who can go deep. It will be interesting to see how Quinn competes against Crowder this summer!

Courtland Sutton 69 1087 15.8 13 Trey Quinn 114 1246 10.7 13
I meant for passer rating when targeted.. The stats you just showed pretty much confirms that Sutton often is used as a receiver who goes deep often. |
Re: Draft grades
PFF comments on Trey Quinn: "Ranked third in the country in targets and first in receptions. His 91.1 overall grade ranks second behind Gallup, and his 1.89 percent drop rate is the best in FBS."
Not bad for a 7th round pick. |

Maybe we should have traded our entire set of draft picks (a la Mike Ditka) to move up and get Quentin Nelson. |

I don't think this has been posted, but read it. Folks, meet your next Left Guard of the Washington Redskins, Sean Welsh
Solid read. I sure hope you're right. The fact that he battled through depression actually makes me think he's more likely to win the battle in training camp: he definitely would have been drafted if it wasn't for this issue, and maybe not in the late rounds, so talent isn't an issue here! Plus he has to be stronger mentally know, being able to be open about it. |

(Can't wait for Cooley film breakdown on Welsh!)
