Yes our D was better when we ran the 4-3, but Rak was a LB in our 4-3 D.

Agreed but id move the timeline up to when rg3 re-aggravated his knee the play before throwing the td pass. Not taking rg3 out when it was obvious he had ligament damage has put us back in unfathomable ways.

I also would say not keeping rg3 out until after the bye and letting him use the first 4 weeks to tune up.

Saying Goat is an idiot who twists (or simply invents) facts to support his "I hate everything about anyone named Shanahan" theories is pointless b/c he simply pretends such statements don't exist. He's not a goofball. He's a one-note hater whose every post demonstrates his willingness to ignore reality, history and his own prior statements.

Remember, this is the guy who said "We need to improve speed at the WR position" in the same thread where he said we should have resigned J. Gaffney instead of signing Garcon.

The level of ignorance he displays is beyond any measurable scale.

You can tell Goat hasn't watched any games. If there is one thing our team has done is continue fighting. Maybe one or two games I've seen where they were just absolutely beat down and they knew they weren't coming back. (Green Bay/San Fran)

1) changing to 3-4 (and playing Rak as a LB instead of DE like he was in college)
2) Not shutting RG3 down after the Raven's game when he originally injured his knee.

4) Haslett
5) Burns

I can't stand Shannahan. His OL are constantly too small. I prefer big OL like the hogs of old and Air Coryell offense instead of the west coast offense.
To right this team the whole coaching staff needs to go and we need to go back to the 4-3 and get us some HOGS for OL to play real redskins football

Rak was a LB in the 4-3 before Shanny got here.

Rogers? Campbell? Landry? ST? Still crappy every year. Pats pick late in the first round every year. They have been contenders for over a decade.

I would still contend RG3 is a franchise QB though i'm sure his confidence has had to of taken a hit this year.

Watching the replays this morning, it is just amazing how clean of a pocket CK had at times.
