Stop. Just stop. Can you show me ANYTHING about his career as a coach that leads you to believe he's good with QBs in any shape, form or fashion? It's amazing to see how the average person sees a person on TV talking about stuff, and automatically think he's a genius with said topic. SMH |

Sports journalism is a flipping joke. Kinda surprised nfl.com is peddling this garbage. |
I just hope RG survives the game. Once SF gets up by a few tds and he has to pass every down its gona get ugly.
They need to efficiently use the roll out as the o-line isn't designed to provide a non moving pocket. Their D is also perfect for stopping runs to the edge, something our offense does well. It could get ugly. |
Re: Skins Vs 9ers Pre game thread
I've heard a lot of rumors everywhere that state basically if Shanahan loses to the 49er's, that it is almost a done deal he will be fired at the end of the season.
Can anybody really confirm that or at least say if the rumors are plausible? |

Re: Skins Vs 9ers Pre game thread
Who cares! keep Shanny or kick him to the curb, we still have the same fundamental problems as when he and Allen were hired. O line sucks, inconsistent Wrs, bad defensive backfield, poor tackling, bad special teams, etc, ad nauseum. This is nothing more than a WWE story line that just doesn't quit anymore, but the sad thing is it is getting really, really, really, OLD.

Sports journalists are just a bunch of fans that have a journalism degree Bsing about sports. So many errors have been found reading articles on Foxsports.com it is unbelievable. No research is being done, or no follow through to make sure they are accurate. It is why Sports writers are where they are, they aren't ready for any real writing/reporting assignments. |

Nothing more than hype by the NFL, just how Rob Ryan is a great defensive guru now since he made the Saints D respectable, even though the Cowboys D sucked last year, which led to his canning. Madden sucked Shanahan's dick when he was with Denver, and it obviously was Elway and co. Only guy in the NFL today that lived up to the hype at all was Peyton Manning and even he wasn't all that hyped up, same goes for Drew Brees, and Tom(6th rd) Brady. The hype surrounding RG III was just plain ridiculous and it is going to bite the Skins in the ass when it is all said and done. The kid was set for life before he took one snap for the Skins. In today's world it is all about the benjamins. If players truly cared about winning you wouldn't see such mediocrity on the field every frigging week. The NFL is getting old and boring, in short stale anymore. |

This is where the hype machine melts before the reality. The guy did do a good job with the Raiders, but inherited Dungy's team in Tampa, so him nbeing such a great coach can be debated. |

Gruden may be a little bit of a attention whore, but the guy knows his stuff. Hell he even got to the playoffs with Chris Simms. |

You could say the same thing about Dungy going to Indy. He had Peyton Manning. Gruden got Brad Johnson! |

Damn right, skinsfan69! Way to defend my boy Jon Gruden! I'm starting to think we'll never win again, so why not go with an attention whore who has personality? Jon Gruden would be fun! I love it when he goes into his Chucky act! That's why Dan Snyder should hire him. Plus, he's a good coach and we might win with him. |
