Some great prospects will be at the game. Brian Quick WR App St. Bobby Wagner ILB Utah (Compared to London Fletcher) The Iowa State CB, said to be a great overall corner. All the Big Ten and SEC Lineman are also intriguing to me at Guard, Tackle, and Center (also the FSU guy and the UAB guy has a lot of potential it sounds like)[/quote] He does look like London Fletcher..check out his video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17IRj4hzXZw]Bobby Wagner - LB - Utah State - YouTube[/ame] |

i dont think so. i personally see him as nothing more than a backup/game manager. |
Re: 2012 NFL Draft-QB Prospects (Chapter 5)
For a little perspective from SI. Here is the deal for Eli Manning: A 1st and 3rd in the draft year and 1st and 4th the following year. Seems like alot but they are reaping the benefits of having a very good qb. They picked 4th that year. Of course, I guess they could have stayed at 4 and picked up Rivers/Rothlesberger. I guess if you like a QB, you gotta go get him.
Accorsi offered the Giants' first- and third-round picks in '04, and an '05 first-rounder. "We still want Osi,'' Smith told him. Tick, tick, tick ... Two minutes left. Accorsi's last, best offer. "No Osi,'' he said. "That's still a deal-breaker. But we'll throw in a six next year.'' Pause on the line from San Diego. Tick, tick, tick ... "Make it a four,'' Smith said. "I'll give you a five,'' Accorsi said. Re: 2012 NFL Draft-QB Prospects (Chapter 5)
Mike: Right now it’s easy to be more intrigued by Griffin than anyone else. My preference: getting the best QB you can find is the option. If that means trading up for Griffin, then do it. Shanahan is not one to settle for a guy if he thinks he can land an elite player. There’s no guarantee with any player, but having to trade a couple picks for a guy I think can really play would not be a deterrent. To trade up high in the first round means you’re convinced the player will be elite. If you’re not convinced, don’t do it. There’s nothing the Redskins have needed more for a long time than a franchise QB. If that’s Griffin, get him and don’t hesitate.

He will be a late round project. |

Starting to sound like a pretty decent option. Imagine what the team would look like next year with 8-10 new draft picks and another round of free agency. Would be a great situation for someone like Barkley to walk into. Won't happen, but wouldn't be the end of the world. |

Yeah, it would look like a team that was 0-16, to assure they get Barkley. It would be criminal not make a move to get a QB. I hear allot of we have to get my guy. I will be happy as long as we get one of the three guys that have been discussed. Matt Flynn, Payton Manning, or RG3. If not, I will be upset. Maybe there is a guy that makes sense, that we don't know about. But aside from that, they better get one of them. |

I think the Redskins should be talking to the Rams now, and trying to get a trade done prior to free agency. I am not sure that is within the rules, but if they are going to rely on getting RG3, they better have that 2nd pick rapped up before free agency. |

I think that will never happen, but trumps everything, other than a completely healthy Manning. |
