Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
So much for aaron ross:
CB Aaron Ross agrees to 3 Year deal in Jacksonville, deal worth up to $15.3M. #freeagency Per JLC Sent from my SPH-M820-BST using Tapatalk
I, for one, am glad he didn't sign here |
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
I'm surprised Ross got a three year deal.
He would have been a decent pickup for us and he is a better pickup for Jacksonville, but if you had made me guess, I would have predicted that 2/6 would have been about the ceiling on his earnings. That's not to suggest Jacksonville overpaid, but it's a longer contract that I thought he'd get. |
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
3yr 15 mil for Ross, a 30 yr old CB is just too much... glad we didn't overpay, but it would've been nice had he signed here...
Tracy Porter is still available, which to me is surprising. |
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
I saw on Twitter that Kory L. signed his tender. Are there any other RFAs left to sign? I know one of them was Gano.
I hope Bruce Allen sat down with him, thanked him for being what the Skins look for, showed him a Very Good offer sheet, told him we really want him back, but understand his desire to look at other teams, and now we(the Skins) are letting him come to his own decision. I hope he comes back here, but you have to be able to let older players decide their own end.
I think this is exactly what is happening. Eventually I see Fletch realizing the Skins offering as the best he will get. |
Skins have talked to QB Josh Johnson

I wonder if that was before or after grossman signed? |

Hahaha Break out the draft guides. I'm assuming that $36 million cap penalty really crushed our free agent plans. |

I hope he brings a bottle of wine. That is polite behavior for a guest. |
