good stuff...what are these factors? Gotta be something funny in the FO that doesnt sit right with people...interesting both those very solid coaches and people walked from Miami in Fisher and Harbaugh
In South Fl, their FO and Ownership group are not considered.....ridiculous. I doubt they can be counted on to provide adequate weapons and protection to interest PM..... |

Yup. We've lost our title as the most dysfunctional FO to the Dolphins. |
He should play in Arizona as far as I'm concerned. That seems like a great fit.
I wonder if Elway will show up to tonight's dinner wearing his two Super Bowl rings and be like "Oh...you only have one ring. I'm so sorry"
Then he gets in real close and quiet but starts talking a 1,000 words a minute with the hard sale. "See I know what it's like. Your stupid brother who's only endorsement is some watch company now has two rings. TWO! But I can change that. I got to the playoffs with Tim Tebow. TEBOW! You were a better passer the day after your 4th surgery. Just IMAGINE what I could do with you. Think abut it." *Does I'm watching you/seeing eye to eye gesture* "Enjoy your evening gentlemen" *Repeats eye to eye gesture* |

PM apparently a little taken back by all the media frenzy down there too. Miami media circus may make Manning wary of Dolphins | ProFootballTalk |

Now that I think about it, PM is not MIA the city. He is no show boat. |
Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
So many rumors hard to figure out what is really going down.
But it is filling my boring afternoon. |

The media here is pretty "caring" about the Redskins, no wonder he doesn't want to be here. I must say, Eli has thicker skin than Peyton. |

I can't find the interview though. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYF3al9FfgA]Peyton Manning as a kid playing in the backyard - Weplay - YouTube[/ame] |
Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
I agree completely but I think the fear comes from Shanny deciding to sit Cutler for like 6 or 7 games when he was a rookie. I would hope that Shanny would have in mind how quickly he envisions RG3 starting and tailoring the backup QB to that plan. At the end of the day I just want RG3 and I would still be happy if someone from this board was the backup.
Have you ever had something new show up, get designed, or whatever and everyone is talking about it to the point you are just sick of it. So sick of it your at the point you .... just don't want it? Thats where I'm at with RGIII now. I know he will be good and I'll be happy if the team gets him ... I guess. But I'm so tired of hearing how he's "the it". he's the knight in shinning armor. He's gunna make us winners. He has no flaws. He's the BEST. :vomit: |
Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
All this Griffin talk makes me want to just hurry up and get a trade done. All this talk of the Browns and Rams talking is making me nervous, especially since we appear to be out of the Peyton talk.
But as far as the point goes, I agree with Matty. I think RG3 is bright and talented enough that he would be able to start from day one. I don't think he can learn the full playbook by the first game, but he should be able to learn enough to start and play the first game.
How are we out of the Peyton talk? I know what was reported yesterday but last night the person who's "opinion" started the whole rumor came out and said that it was his opinion not fact and that he has not heard that the Skins are out of the running. As far as I know we are still in the thick of things. ;) |

You are on Redskins board in a thread that is specifically talking about our QB of the future, what else would you want folks to talk about on here? Care Bears? I have always had a soft spot for cheer bear: |

Hmmm, I'll agree with this IF they want to throw the draft for one player RGIII. If they don't then I see the Skins as being one of the better places for PM. We have the best defense of all the teams needing his services and we know defense wins championships. A tweek to our OL and WR weapons brought in with a decent QB and I can see this offense scoring even 1 more TD per game which would if not win the game have tied them giving the Skins a chance to win. and.... this team has the money and space to bring in the players he would like to surround himself with if he'd like. and thats why I see the Skins being a positive for him. I don't see Miami coming out next year going to the playoffs, nor do I see Arizona with their one good WR. |
