Russia wants you to believe that it's sustainable forever but it's not, their economy was tanking before Trump gave them a lifeline. Most pure military experts think that the Russia would be forced to end war within the next year if you keep supporting Ukraine at the level that the West has been. Before Trump POTUS was known as the leader of the Free World now POTUS is the ass kisser of Putin. And when it comes to how much we've spent supporting Ukraine it's barely a drop in the bucket against our defense budget, and the toll it has taken on the Russian military is immense. If you're a Reagan Republican as far as foreign policy is concerned you can't support Trump on his handling of Ukraine. Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |

We pledged to support their sovereignty when they agrood to give up their nuclear weapons. This is not a hard concept to understand. Certainly fighting with the dictators of the world is not where we want the US foreign policy to be, yet we were one of 18 countries -mainly dictators- to a vote against the resolution in the UN today - this war started with Russia invading a sovereign country with a 40km long column of tanks. Actually, it was started in 2014 when Russia sent troops into Crimea, and continued through Obama, Trump 1, and Biden. Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |

If we put a no fly zone to protect their skies at little risk to our pilots, they would re-take their land in time. FACT: at russia's current rates it would take them 83 years to capture Ukraine and cost them 30,000,000 killed and wounded. Second fact (not really a proven fact but it is as true as your assertion about russia's advances) if the UK and USA had been true to our word in the Budapest memorandum and put troops on the ground and in the air this war would have been over as quick as the first Gulf war when Iraq invaded Kuwait. Re: Ukraine mega thread
Understand that if you support Pres. Trump's position on Ukraine, you are siding with Russia, N. Korea, Nicaraugua and others. Even China abstained instead of voting with Russia.
So congratulations, you have accomplished what Hillary and Barack only dreamed of, a reset of relations wxth the worlds dictators and it only cost giving up on our allies, ideals and those we pledged to protect. Not only have military leaders explained it not possible to reclaim Russian gains but Zylinkski himself in December: The Constitution of Ukraine prohibits us from doing this. De facto, these territories are now controlled by the Russians. We don’t have the strength to bring them back,” Zelensky told Le Parisien, a French newspaper. Europe has fucked this up from day 1 and they want zero to do with Ukraine in NATO. But I have a hard time believe Ukraine who has been in strategic retreat the last two years can reclaim any territory without our boots on the ground or a multinational EU force. Would you support anyone jumping into the war for Ukraine? |
Re: Ukraine mega thread
I support the US selling weapons and whatever else Ukraine needs to defend itself. Does that mean boots on the ground? No. But this idea that we are just giving away aid for free is asinine.
Trump is a Putin bootlicker. Yes you can mock me all you want but there's a reason Trump turned to Russia for money when no banks would touch him. There's a specific reason they have private conversations without translaters/recorders in the room. Anyways I said my piece. |

Re: Ukraine mega thread
Trump and Vance are slowly destroying USA' relationships with allies... I saw a longer clip of the conversation between Trump, Vance and Zelenskiy - it's just embarrassing for USA. Kudos to Zelenskiy for not caving into the pressure.

Re: Ukraine mega thread
trump is disgusting as is Vance.
