Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Already started my 2nd play through, beat the first one 7 times and the second 3 times. It's no where near as scary as its predecessors, but the story has more depth to it to flesh out the trilogy. Also some new additions like the weapon bench and the semi free roam availability with optional missions really do a nice job of adding to the expirience.
I finished DS3 last week. Probably my least favorite in the series. The story didn't do much for me personally. The game looks great though, and as always the sound and atmosphere is amazing. Definitely worth playing but I thought the first 2 were better. |

Anyone else playing DOTA2 (or want to play DOTA2, I have an extra free invite)
PC game. Must have steam. |
Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Perhaps, but it depends on how well the game is selling. A game like this might take a while to see a price drop.
Nah only mulitplayers hold their value. Shoot you can already get it for $50. Half.com: BioShock Infinite (Xbox 360): Video Games |

100% agreed. The dlc they brought out for it, Awakened, plays a lot like the originals as far as terror and psychological aspects go. |

Probably wont be the last time a sentence is started with the phrase "Disney kills." No doubt there's a lot of pissed off fans out there right now.

A little piece of me died inside when this got announced earlier this week. A part of me is still hoping some of the industry rumors of some of these titles being outsourced to other publishers is true, especially for a title like 1313 that had tons of hype and excitement after its reveal last summer. |
Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Has anyone beside me finished Bioshock Infinite yet? I've been dying to talk about the ending but no one has finished it yet. It was so complicated I actually had to look it up on the internet to have it make any sense to me. But now that I understand it... Mind = blown.

Yeah it was definitely a bit of a mind trip. This series always does such a great job with curveballs and how they incorporate them into the story line so you see previous moments from the game in a whole new light once the curtain has been drawn. |

Thats nice news for an industry coming off a terrible year in 2012. I mean great, lets get rid of one of the more promising games out there. Hopefully we end up with a Sleeping Dogs/True Crime situation where another company finishes it.
Has anyone beside me finished Bioshock Infinite yet? Seems like anytime I've had something sent that way it takes weeks to get it.
If it is a game I always ship 1st class priority it is nearly the same price. You can upgrade your shipping too. I think it is $3.99. Most people for the most part ship priority mail unless it is books. |
Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Expedited shipping is $5.49. Not horrible but that still brings the price up closer to $50. I'll just wait for it to drop down to $39 on Amazon.
