Landry was only really special twice in a Redskin uniform. Second half of his rookie year when he took over for #21. And the first half of 2010 where Haslet let him go insane. Besides that he's consistently been a high priced liability. |

Exactly what I was going to say. |

Yea LaRon Landry was a playmaker.....in Madden. I'm going to miss all the hit-stick fumbles I forced with him. Rating wise, he was the hardest hitting safety in the game. |

Throw in the 4th qtr of the playoff game vs. Seattle as well. |

Yeah he became that once ST passed. On a different note will Cedric Griffin play FS or CB for us. |
CB Aaron Ross agrees to 3 Year deal in Jacksonville, deal worth up to $15.3M. #freeagency

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Dang I would have wanted Ross if Griffin was playing safety but oh well lets build through the draft baby!

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Ross will regret his decision to go to Jacksonville...barring a Tebow miracle, of course.
Ross will regret his decision to go to Jacksonville...barring a Tebow miracle, of course.
Jacksonville's roster is better than you would think.
A lot of people are going to write in the Texans as early favorites in the AFC South, and with good reason, but Houston's down a number of key veterans from last year that they aren't going to be able to replace in the draft as easily as they feel they can. Houston has no OL depth, no WR depth, and likely no TE/FB depth right now. They'll need 14-16 games out of Andre Johnson to be an effective passing offense. Who knows if they'll get it? A vote for Jacksonville in that division requires faith that they're going to do better with the quarterback situation than they did last year when it was worst in the NFL, but they are a team that can go blow for blow with the Texans. And I'd throw the Titans in that group as well. |
Tennessee will win the division next year with locker
It's certainly possible.
I don't believe in Locker in any sort of 16 game setting, but it wouldn't shock me if he won a division coming in relief of Hasselbeck that gives his agent a selling point 4 years from now when he's a free agent. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Jacksonville was the only team to give Ross that kind money and he took it, and I won't blame him... I do agree that Jacksonville is a team on the rise despite it's timeless problem at QB... Will they win the AFC South this year? Most likely not, but maybe in the next 2-3 years... Problem is Jacksonville, FL besides it being in FL, is not a football town, so for football players (FA's) to come there, you pay a little more to get them there (Laurent Robinson, Aaron Ross).

Tebow would be a tonic for that franchise. |

Per JLC Sent from my SPH-M820-BST using Tapatalk
That's not a very good contract. IMO Porter is clearly a better player, younger and probably a cheaper option. |
