Justin Herbert looks better in his first career game against the SB champs than Haskins has ever looked..
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is why before the draft last year I was really hoping we would trade out of the 2 pick and get maybe QB and OL.. I did not happen and we got what a lot of folks say is the best D player in a long time...it’s not looking good ..this team needs a QB and OL .. end of story .. gonna be a long season |

Haskins cant pin the tail on the donkey without a blindfold. He is not the guy, but we will waste another year or two hoping for some magical transformation,..... |

Agreed. That’s why they need to start bringing in FA NOW, who are sitting around (but still in shape) and see if they can fill some of the holes BEFORE the draft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You have to get the QB first and foremost. The difference in this game is Murray. |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
Their QB can and is making plays. Ours isn't and can't.
|
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
How many first rounders on this D?? Whew ... not even competitive
|
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
Murray is a bad man.
Apke is a bad football player. |

We'll see if Snyder is really going to let Rivera run the team or not. Because Haskins sucks and Rivera didn't pick him. |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
McLaurin is such a stud.

Arizona is loaded with talent on both sides of the football. I know our team is horrible, but there is very little talent on the offense. Not to take anything away from Murray, but Arizona is just miles ahead of our team in terms of talent. |

Smart man. |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
That’s because Snyder had his grubby little fingers in the draft decision-making. Take him out of it and we could get a franchise QB with Kyle Smith and Rivera ONLY making the decisions in the draft.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I mean this goes way before Snyder. Other than Sammy Baugh I don't think they ever drafted a franchise QB |

I know but you HAVE to give a first round, #15 pick his time to perform OR NOT. Last season Gruden gave Haskins not ONE rep with the first team until he threw him into the sixth game. The OL was as bad last year as it is this year. Haskin’s started out terrible BUT last two games were ABOVE 120 QB rating. You can’t just give up on a rookie when he improved that much. Maybe the last few games we’ll let Allen finish the season, but only IF Haskins has proved he’s not the franchise future. You can’t give a guy two games this season to prove himself. Even a HOF QB like Peyton Manning had a totally dog-shitte rookie season. That’s why you don’t let the owner, who knows NOTHING about football, make draft decisions! My fear is that with Haskins being young and this being a new offense that he is going to get another chance. My hope is that RR sees what we all see and ends it.... |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
That would have been a sack with 90% of the QB in the NFL. Murray just OUTRUNS our DL! He really is very good. Still the defense held.
Haskins has to lead this team for another TD if we’re to have a chance this game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

RR can do whatever he wants. I don't see the need to make a change at QB, especially when we have a shitty o-line and very little offensive talent at receiver (outside of Terry). We're not in win-now mode, nor we are "VERY CLOSE" like Bruce Allen foolishly thought. We're rebuilding, and you keep Haskins there to see if he works out or not. Also, Arizona has clearly become an elite team. And we're not the team that has the talent to beat a team like that. |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
I just don’t think Haskins reads the field very well

Did Arizona make the playoffs last year? They're not miles ahead of us. |

Haskins gets ONE SEASON to prove himself. Rivera has no ties to the previous players at all. Haskins not setting his feet. McKissic doing very well. Keep it at fast pace. Then they run two runs in a row. Why? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
Another HIGH pass. Still Inman should have caught it. Receivers not helping Haskins.

Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
We are down 18 points with 7 min to go and we are running draws and 4 yard passes. Not impressed with Turner and this window dressing offense.

this is all garbage time stats and points. we got whooped bad. glad they didnt allow fans and i saved 600 bucks.

They are not? Let's look at their offense: - Kenyan Drake - D. Hopkins - L. Fitz (he's old, but he's still good) - A couple of young WRs drafted last year - A functional offensive line. - A mobile QB that had all of last year to learn the offense and has the same coaches from last year. And on defense they have an elite pass rusher, an elite safety, and an aging but still good CB in Patrick Peterson. Yes, they are a much better team and have obviously gotten it together after struggling and rebuilding last year. |

Same boat. Prior to COVID, I planned on driving out to Arizona for this game. Thank goodness I couldn't go. |
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
We all knew AZ would be a better opponent, they are just clearly better
|
Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
Steve Sims, Jr is an excellent slot WR. He is a very good complement to McLaurin. Inman is just holding the spot at WR#2 until someone better comes up. Small chance that Cam Sims could move up.

Redskins @ Cards gameday thread
Reality check today and the reality is pretty harsh. We are a bottom ten team in the league. Plain snd simple.
Our offense is light years away and probably needs about 5-7 new starters to be legit. Our defense is pretty average. Cards took their foot off the gas they could have scored 50. |

Arizona seems to be a playoff team. After seeing them come back on 49ers (who destroyed the Jets yesterday) I knew they were the real deal. |

If he develops into something serviceable great if not we get a high draft pick. |
