HA! I'll be making the trek up to my hometown Frederick Keys opening day. Not the same, but hell of a lot cheaper.

Single A baseball with cheap hometown beer on tap (Flying Dog)... can't beat it.

This Friday just means more work for me as I have a punch list a mile long to do this weekend.


Friday afternoon:

I'm getting ready for our garage sale.
Also working on my clubs BBQ Chili Fest.

Saturday
Garage sale.
Pass out flyers for BBQ Chili fest
Get our beds Head board out of storage and sand off finish and this thing is huge.
Finish sanding rest of the bed.
5:00 start drinking

Sunday;
First coat of clear on bed.
Finish painting daughter dresser.
Get wood to build shelfing for New homes kitchen cubbard.
second coat of clear on bed? If I have time.
4:30 start drinking.

Monday:
Come to work for some rest.

Its Friday, and Im gonna spend my afternoon applying for jobs while at work. Then im going for a run after work, and work out my frustrations of this place.

Im gonna then drink Jack Daniels old No 7 and watch the greatest franchise in the history of sports draft their next probowlers. HTTR!

Its tough to work for a place 12 years and realize you need to leave. But once you start to feel it's letting you down and affecting your confidence in what you do (even though I shouldnt nor have ive ever been told Im doing a bad job), its time to leave. Work feels like a divorce, even though ive never been married.

Sorry for the rant, its friday but still depressing around here.

No, I understand that completely. Took me over 10 years to get a promotion at my job and I had been pushing for it.


FINALLY got one so all is good. I'm not far from the top anyway, so there isn't much room to move up without people retiring, but when you feel your work deserves some recognition, it can get frustrating to feel shot down or at least unappreciated constantly.

It's nice to say my weekend starts tomorrow due to the promotion I got a couple weeks ago. My new schedule has me working more hours, but more money, I work Mon-Fri one week and then Mon-Sat the next. Only two full weekends off a month isn't the greatest, but it's more money so it's not so bad.

I'll be right behind you. I'm off tomorrow to play a best ball golf tournament and Saturday is my birthday. I wish I could kick back on my B Day but we are moving next Friday and I have too much to do. I did buy me something today for my BDay.

I met the owner of Leinenkugel's once when I was doing a beer sampling at the Px in Quantico. Like any good salesman, he asked me why I was promoting Blue Moon and not Leinenkugel's, and then he told me to try it. I should probably get on that lol, I still haven't tried it.
