most complete win of the season. The defense seems to play better when they are not on the field 60-65% of the game.

Hats off to the Oline, amazing job today

Agreed. Enjoy it before the high draft pick sympathizers come in and start bitching about us winning.

Crazy stuff today...

Colts 27 points in a win... Packers 14 points in a loss to the Chiefs... Panthers 28 points on the Texans D... Seattle 38 points on the Bears D... Reggie Bush 200 yds+ rushing... and the Redskins control the G-Men all day...

Wow.

Hey... I'm one of those... this win definitely could take us away from the 2nd QB picked in the draft...

But... this one was nice... I'd be pissed if it weren't a division opponent needing the win.

Seattle is only 24 Points over the Bears D. 14 Points of a FumbleTD and a IntTD.

Drew Brees - 32/40 - 412 yds, 5 TDs

Man, I'd love to have one of those... lol

Funny thing is, that's still a bunch for Seattle's offense... especially vs the Bears D.

Let me point out that this win puts us picking after the Browns (and obviously the Colts)... still tied with Miami and ahead of Seattle and the Chiefs, but...

just figured I'd update that... lol

Sorry, but I have to disagree...

The only record I'd hate worse is 0-16.

7-9 means we sucked bad enough to have no chance at playoffs AND also end up picking around 14-15.

Just my opinion... it means nothing... but I HATE 7-9.

Don't worry guys, we'll lose to the rookie next week whether we want them to lose or not. Rookies=Redskins kryptonite

Idc win or lose, but damn it was refreshing to just see an all around solid game today. Just nice play in every facet. Draft slot means nothing, because trades happen all the time and we are perfectly capable of doing whatever necessary to get our qb in the draft next year.

Re: Redskins vs giants gameday thread

I am NOT hating on this win at all.

I don't care, I'm a Skins fan first and Cowboys hater second. I just refuse to root for losses just for a pick. Other teams have done just fine picking QBs in the range we'll be picking in and even then, there's no guarantee they work out.

LOVED the win today.

Re: Redskins vs giants gameday thread

I'm not mad at all with the win today... loved it and am thrilled to sweep the G-Men...

but as far as the draft goes... picking 14-15 would be a killer.

To have to trade up to get Barkley or RGIII would be terrible. What was great about our offseason was gettin 12 very useful draft picks. We don't need to be trading away 3 picks just to move up 8-10 slots in one draft. We need more young CBs and O-Linemen!

I am 1000% against trading up this April... just say no! Given a choice between the two... I'd rather lose to the Vikings and Eagles for sure.

So long as Miami keeps on winning, we can too. ;)

Awesome win, this is how you set a winning culture, by winning f*cking games. This was basically a playoff game for the Giants and we could have easily not played for anything.

For those that are b*tching about the win...

F - U - C - K Y - O - U and go to hell.

Go SKINS!

Great win by Our Skins today. Really impressed that they had a great outing considering that the Giants were under must win conditions late in the season.

We took all the Giants had in December & came out the decisive victor. Skins Salute to all of Our Redskins today.

Here's to building on these victories and seeing a stronger future Redskins...Hail To The Redskins!

I'd also like to add a big f you to any and all Giants DB's who have talked smack about the Redskins this season. This means you, Antrel Rolle, and you, Kenny Phillips. Since it's the holidays and I want to be nice, I will just say I'm glad your punk shit talking mouths have been shut up.

Yep I refuse to root for losses but I think this win just guaranteed us another year of Rex at the helm.

Really? REALLY?

Being totally serious, really?

One win guarantees a qb who turns the ball over on average 2 times a game the starting job next season?

Seriously, really?

I could see this scenario, but it probably will be like the time when Shanny drafted Cutler and started him after several games. I would not oppose this move at all. I actually really hope we will be able to retain Rexy for next few years as mentor/backup QB.
