I think your expectations for Matt Stafford are way too high. Beyond passing numbers, he has 10 wins in 3 seasons, and plays now on a team with a top defense.

I think he's going to need to play much better to get the Lions over the hump into the playoffs. I think he's capable enough -- and at this point, the Redskins would take anyone capable, but I think the history of Matt Stafford would suggest he's going to struggle to win enough games down the stretch to get the Lions into the playoffs.

Stafford is still incredibly young, but I don't think he's progressed to the point where he will be an elite quarterback soon. Down the road? Sure. I wouldn't bet against him or the Lions. I just don't know if I'd bet on him either. Stafford's completion percentage has actually gone up since the finger injury, which is both a good sign for the Lions, and a reason to believe that his wildness has nothing to do with injury: that's just how Matt Stafford has been since college.
Well, all I ever really said about him is that I think he's got a very high ceiling. Doesn't seem like you disagree. So agree to agree?

Lol, Peeli has completed 16 consecutive completions. Ah, prevent defense.

I think he plays for a real A+ organization and has an A+ scoring machine (or two) on his own team. And I think those are assets that not quarterbacks ever get in this league. Some quarterbacks get Vinny Cerrato and Devin Thomas.

I would not put a ceiling on any 23 year old QB. Not Stafford, not McCoy, not Sanchez, not Newton, and not Dalton. Tom Brady was a pretty crappy QB at age 23.

Drew Brees' performance tonight is a first for any NFL QB.

The Giants ran into a buzz saw.

The Saints at home when that offense is clicking are almost unbeatable.

...would have helped if the the team had brought the Defense with them to NO.
You and logical conclusions aren't friends right now, are you? I mean, who uses quarterback rating anymore? Unless there's just nothing else you can point to to suggest you know what you're talking about.

Let me spell it out for you: you don't know what you're talking about.
Says the guy comparing Stafford to Campbell, and going on to say Stafford is basically "meh".

I'm just glad guys like you aren't running this team. It would probably make me beg for Vinny Cerrato back.

I'm not getting into this argument but MATT STAFFORD is not a top 5 QB in the NFL, He's having a good season but I wanna see it over a span of 2-3 years. He's always injured and if he didn't have Megatron I bet we all would be saying BUST.. That's just MO

You're too kind to me. But seriously though, anytime you need to feel silly, you know where to find me.
