GD. I'm pretty happy we don't play the NFC North again this year.
Better. Because we finished in 4th last year we get to face the fourth place team in last years NFC North. The Vikings. Lol.

As I understand the schedule is made up of the following.

4 games against another NFC Division (NFC West this year)
4 games against an AFC Division (AFC East this year)
6 games against Division opponents
1 game against a same place team in a separate NFC division (NFC North this year - Minnesota)
1 game against a same place team in a second NFC Division (NFC South this year - Carolina)

I guess the point is to give each team 4 interconference games, and at least 1 game against all four divisions in their conference.

Victor Cruz is about to be the goat of the week -- he just cost the Giants the game I think

Oh I already know how the schedule formatting works. We play Minnesota on Dec. 24th I do believe. Looking forward to welcoming McNabb back to Fedex. :D

So f'n lucky there. And go figure next play the Giants score a touchdown. Alright Kolb time to prove your worth here. 2 min drill need a touchdown, still got 2 timeouts and the 2 min. warning.

The Giants just scored and went up 30-27. I guess we'll need to deal with Giantone's bragging this week.
Depends on the scoring, he has like 69 points in one of my leagues -- to give you some perspective, the rest of my team has scored 66 points
2011 defaults. I think Yahoo! changed the scoring for passing TDs tossed by QBs from 6 points to 4 points in the default leagues. Due to this, Rodgers outdid that performance by Vick last year if we used Yahoo's 2010 defaults.

I'm gonna make a prediction here. In the event Kolb doesn't pull a Grossman and fumble the game away or throw a pick and they do get a touchdown it will be Kolb to Fitzy.

And that's game. Boy the Cards just blew a big one. Up by 10 with under 4 minutes to go and they blew it.

I think the prediction by ESPN for the skins to go 3-13 what they actually meant was whoever had Donnovan Mcnabb...

McNabb is 0-4 and well on his way to being replaced by ponder........so who's in the suck for luck contest this week

Okay peeps, confession time: no more criticisms about Mike Shanahan, because he clearly made the right decision about Donovan McNabb.
Did anyone see Cruz' fumble? What was all that about?
To the refs credit it's a hard call. Basically Cruz went down on his own, got back up, and decided not to hang onto the ball. He wasn't down, so therefore it should've been a fumble, that the Cards recovered. Instead they ruled that he was down, or something along those lines that retained possession of the ball for the Giants.

Just saw the highlight there, that was a BS call. Giants got lucky.

Re: Around the NFL week 4

on that cruz play, just saw it myself on the highlights. the refs said "he gave himself up" which means hes down. the az coach was told by the refs he couldnt challenge it.

i think they had peter king on as their expert who said a runner "gives himself up when he slides or...gives himself up"?

either way, seems to be a bad call b/c cruz caught it on the ground then got up and tried to run for a few yards then went back on the ground untouched in a fetile position then got back up dropping the ball . . .i believe "giving himself up" would have been if when he made a sliding catch then deciding not to get back up but he did . . .seems like a bad call all around

personally never heard of "giving himself up" as applied to a receiver, only a qb in the process of doing a slide where the ball comes loose during the process of the slide

Ah, right, "giving himself up." Dumb call. He got up, he wasn't down, ball came out.

Do plays get stopped when 2 teams stand around while the ball is live on the field? Dumb call by the refs.

Megatron is on track to obliterate Randy's single-season record for receiving TDs - he's got 8 TDs in 4 games which, if he continues at that blistering pace, would result in 32 TDs in one season which is ridiculous

I don't think you are mistaken. It's actually ironic in that Rocky was drafted to play OLB in a 4-3, while Bobby was drafted to play ILB in a 3-4. Now Bobby is playing OLB in a 4-3 in Detroit while Rocky is playing ILB in a 3-4. And I was actually wrong, Carpenter was drafted 18th overall in the 1st, and we took Rocky with the 3rd pick in the 2nd round.
