And it’s actually even worse than that, says Conor Orr of Sports Illustrated.

This schedule is borderline criminal While the entire theme of this year’s ordering of games was “naked money grab,” forcing one of the NFL’s stalwart franchises — a team coming off a playoff berth with the reigning Coach of the Year on the sideline — to go on the road for seven of the first 10 games is ridiculous. New York is also tied for the most short-rest games out of any team in the NFL, with four according to ESPN analytics, which also noted that the Giants are tied for the most short-rest road games out of any team. I don’t count a single two-game stretch where I’d deem both games obviously winnable, and they are tied for fourth-toughest in strength of schedule.

While I can predict that coaches like Brian Daboll and DC Wink Martindale, who have been through the ringer, can use this as a collective battle cry, this is the kind of legitimate screw-job that alters the course of a promising season.

Closing the year with the Eagles twice in three weeks, including once on Christmas, is a middle finger at best. What on Earth did the Giants do to deserve this?[/quote]

WE would have been in the playoffs last year except we were mugged by the referees in both Giants games. But what can you expect when the guy who made the Mara family fortune did so as a numbers runner in New York. (M*f*a?) (See Wikipedia and follow the family line back.)

That is actually a pretty cool story, to add did you know Joe Kennedy was a bootlegger?

You do not have to love your owner to love your team. Take it from us. [emoji847]

I look at this yr as a transition yr.. New owners coming in, prob a whole new front office in 2024 with a new HC.

If we win 8 games I'd be surprised

I know, I will say the Ownership structure of the Giants is different then your team so I understand your pain. Mara represents and reports to 11 who own 50% , Tisch owns the other 50%

What they’re saying
Asked Monday what their message is to fans trying to plan to attend late-season games, the NFL’s chief operating officer of NFL Media Hans Schroeder said fans should be vigilant about the game times.

They're saying fuck the fans.
