Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
lol.. I just feel we ruin the quality of the board talking about things that are never going to happen. But I don't want to become the Schneed of the board so maybe I'll look at that home improvement section.
I understand where you are coming from. But with the way you are thinking why even masturbate? A man can dream. |

+1 Same trade offer for all of them - 2 firsts and Payne - and if we gotta throw in a day 2 or a couple day 3's do it. |

I think fields is a lot better than Haskins. Haskins was a bust and most football people knew that pre draft |
Offer this years 1st and 2nd to Chicago for Fields. New coach, new GM no draft capital so in a rebuild. See if they want to get their own guy in as QB
Maybe this year's 2nd. Definitely not a 1st and a 2nd. |
Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
Surprised Payton didn't retire with Brees last year.

you can be a lot better then DH and still not be good. |

I think it would take more than that since he was a first rounder last year. I guess it depends on if he is viewed as better than the potential crop of QBs in draft. I think he played decent considering he didn't get first team reps and had the equivalent of Jim Zorn as a head coach, but really don't know enough. |
To this day, people think we offered significantly more $$ to Cooper, but he chose Dallas instead.
WFT offered $23mil guaranteed. DAL offered $60mil guaranteed. Which one would you choose?
For 23 million you can get used carpet, for 60 million you get new carpet. So obviously I would choose 23 million and go for the used shit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Fields has already shown he is better than DH imo. You get him a real coach, and a couple weapons and he will be just fine. Would totally give up our first two picks for him. |
Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
For Fields, yes I would do that.

Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
Other than the fact they both played at Ohio St I don't get the comparison of Fields to Haskins. Their games are totally different. Still too early to call Fields a bust, I think he flashed enough as a rookie for the Bears to keep moving forward with him for now.

Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
There is no valid comparison between Fields and Haskins other than that they both played at Ohio State. Fields is a far more complete athlete and a proven leader who has played one year for a not very good NFL coach and a not very good team.. Haskins is, well, WFT fans know what Haskins is.

Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
Sean Payton sat down this offseason like "ughhhh, fuck I gotta go find a real qb now. Fuck this I'm out."
Between him and Tomlin definitely curious to see what route Tomlin takes to finding his new QB1 this offseason. |
Surprised Payton didn't retire with Brees last year.
Why would he retire, he's only 58. Leave NO yeah maybe, can't see him retiring though. |
