Re: Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition
Brees is so done. Arm is weak as hell. They are missing Hill badly.

Re: Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition
Saints were 2-0 vs. Tampa in the regular season. Then shits their pants in the playoffs.

Terrible way for Brees to go out. |
Re: Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition
Media is reporting Brees is retiring after this season now too. Saints are going to be a lot different without him. Wonder if they'll give Winston a chance to start next year.

Look at Marino threw for 5,000 in 84 which is like someone getting 6,000 today. Went to one, lost and never got back again. A lot of great great players that never got one. |

On another note, absolutely incredible what Brady is doing. Seriously. This guy is unreal. |
Re: Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition
You just have to tip you cap to Brady. He leaves the Pats and they fall apart. Belichick and Kraft have to be fuming. Goes to TB who didn't make the playoffs last year and are now playing to go to a SB.

The fumble outside the endzone ending in a touchback makes perfect sense IMO. It's coherent with the rest of the rules: wether it be punt, kickoff, or fumble, if you're responsible for the ball going into your opponent's end zone, then it's a touchback (with different tweaks depending of the situation, but the overall logic stays the same).[/QUOTE
I feel at some point that rule will be changed. To me it can't be compared to a blocked punt. It's too penal just for a fumble that no one recovers.
Very doubtful. |

So.... Does Tom still need Bill to win? Asking for a friend

Four of the five highest-graded QBs all advance to the AFC & NFC Championships
1. Aaron Rodgers (94.5) 2. Tom Brady (92.6) 4. Patrick Mahomes (92.5) 5. Josh Allen (90.9) Deshaun Watson (92.5) ranked third... |

That's why I think if Rivera has a shot to get a bigtime franchise signal caller (Lawrence, Watson, Stafford, etc.) he may just do it. Just have a feeling he may swing for the fences in the offseason with a qb. |

They certainly have to be in on the Watson talks |
