And Jordan Shipley is a Jaguar
This was already predicted by that one guy whose' name I can't remember, it's the precursor to a three team deal in which we get McCoy from the Browns, Shipley from the Jags, and all we give up is RG3 and a second rounder. |

It was meant entirely as a compliment to Roman not a jab at anyone else. The more I read about him the more impressed I am. He seems to bring out the best in QB's and knows how to attack defenses very well. He helped bring out the best in David Carr. Went from Stanford and Andrew Luck to the 49'ers and Alex Smith and as OC substancially improved their offense fairly quickly with a QB whose talent was being questioned and in the first year their W/L record improved. Pretty impressive if you ask me and since the poster before me expressed something along the lines of how well they were doing after halftime and a change in QB's, not against just any defense but the Bears defense, I expressed my opinion on Greg Roman. He seems to be successful wherever he goes be it college or pros. |
Fair enough.

He's pretty creative and unpredictable. |

I read all the articles linked to TWP and even being skeptical about analysts/sports-writers the variety of evidence given is pretty overwhelming. He's got a proven track record and sounds like everybody thinks he is or can be a great leader. That's partly why it seems just plain crazy there's interest in K. Shanahan as an HC...what owner/GM/VP is gonna risk their team/job on someone far less accomplished than what's available on the market? But it's not just more potential for offense with Roman as HC, it means more potential with the defense too because Mike would be removed from the equation. It's pretty darn exciting actually... |

Yes he is! It was actually a statement made by Chico in another thread.... then reading the one I quoted that led me to point Roman out. Chico said it was great gameplanning and great coaching that got SF playing like that against Chicago's defense. Keapernic or whatever his name is definitely benefited by Roman being on the staff. |

Dude I saw what he did with Luck at Stanford. If the skins were to make a coaching change he would be my candidate, he has RGIII and Morris, 2 key pieces in place. Let's see how Kaep progresses if he remains the starter. |

I think you can tell Roman works with his QBs real close. Kaep was eerily poised considering the stage and looked confident in his decisions. Some people say you can't coach/teach that stuff, but doesn't seem like the same guy ends up working with a couple/few great QBs? |

Harbaugh's no idiot. He knew what he had to work with in SF and having worked with Roman before he knew who to hire. |

So the Eagles fired their VP of Communications (I think that was the title)
