raise your hand if you even thought that this past years qb's class was even better than the past couple years qb classes!
Also i can see houston going on an arizona cardinal type run in the playoffs if they continue playing like this. and detroit beats the saints tonight.
lies! |
Titus young needs to fix that damn towel

Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Stafford is a stud. I'd rather have him than Bradford.

When healthy yeah, I'd rather have him, but I'll take Sam most of the time over him, sam doesn't have Calvin Johnson or Pettigrew like Matt has. |

also it took Matt a few years lets give Sam time and talent |
Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Good point. But the Skins have so little talent that putting that 1st rounder that they trade up for in the game and he wont be able to do dick either.
Add a true #1 WR and fill holes/add depth with the draft and free agency and there's plenty of talent for any QB to succeed. Our TEs are solid, our RBs are plenty capable and Hankerson could turn out to be very good. Moss and Gaffney at #3 and #4 are fine. No excuses. A good QB would have made a big difference with this year's talent. Becks Grossman was the problem. |

wrong thread.

Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
The Saints are just too damn good especially at home. There's gonna be a party on Bourbon tonight!

Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Detroit better beef up that D come off-season. It's horrible. Even the run defense, which is surprising seeing how good that D-line is.

Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
This is a no brainer, Fisher will go to Rams over Miami because Rams already have a franchise QB he can work with. Miami is a career ender.
I know...wrong thread. Jeff Fisher to tour St. Louis Rams' facility Sunday - NFL - SI.com |

Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Raise your hand if you thought the rookie QB from last year's draft class to win a playoff game this season was going to be TJ Yates
Too early to count out Kaepernick?
Probably not. |
Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Actually I thought Gomes gave us a pretty good season. Hard to believe Yates would have beat Grossman out in a straight competition. But hey hindsight works wonders.
This is a pretty good anti-Yates argument.
Still, the inability to put anyone good on the roster at the QB position is a simple indication that the Redskins expected to be playing meaningful games right down to Week 17. For the second straight year. That's the only logical defense for not drafting someone who can play the position late in a lost season. |
Detroit better beef up that D come off-season. It's horrible. Even the run defense, which is surprising seeing how good that D-line is.
It kept them in the postseason picture for most of the season. They had no running game and an inconsistent week to week passing game. They just got manhandled up front today by the Saints OL, exposing an athletically weak secondary.
