...and all of his draft picks are signed. (including 3 PS players)
Holliday, and who is the other throwaway you're referring to?
I think he is referring to Jarmon. Who got cut. |
Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
Did Holliday make the Cardinals? What a job by Shanah-allen in getting two starters for a couple of throwaways and a 6th round pick.
I think he did. Regardless, we got a starter for peanuts. A 5th rounder=special teamer on average and Holliday is purely a depth player. Depth player + special teamer for a starting RB. Hell yeah I like that. |

Unlike giving up a all-pro CB and a 2nd rounder |

Are we going to peruse Ryan Harris, I believe I saw he was cut by the eagles

I think he received an injury settlement and didn't play any preseason games due to a back injury. Pass. |
Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
Everette Brown cut by Panthers. Too small for 4-3 DE. I always thought that he was playing out of position. Could be a fine pass rusher at OLB for a 3-4 team. He has excellent speed, as I recall.
Everette Brown is definitely intriguing for doth. He was a great pass rusher at FSU. While he learned Haslett's 3-4, I bet he'd be good on special teams. |
Keiland Williams to Detroit

Good for him
Derrick Dockery signed a 1 year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
This signing probably has a lot to do with trying to find a way to beat the redskins zone blocking scheme. I think the redskins offense may have the NFC east worried. And mainly because of how the line has been performing in the preseason. |

Well, wasn't said all-pro CB set on leaving us to test the market anyway? Also, said RB did have some ridiculously efficient numbers to demand a high price tag. That said, the trade should have been just the exchange of the players. The draft pick was highly unnecessary. |

I think their LG position issue is far from resolved, and they just simply might not be comfy with what they have. They were having a competition at that position in the preseason. |
Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
Yep, I agree Sir CP. We should have swapped players and been done with it. It was the VC show back then, nuff said. I am just glad we didn't give them a first as well. lol

The saying RBs are interchangeable is very true. I think we would have lost Champ anyway unless we gave him a crazy contract and we at least got something in return, I just cringe when I hear that. |
