it sucks because he deserves a chance in my opinion to be a HC

Yeah, he deserves to be more than a DB coach

why? our secondary has always been suspect and we haven't developed anyone since he has been here, besides rogers and that's not saying much

we have the number 1 pass defense regardless of how bad people think they are

Cornerback is all about god given talent. But we have had a good secondary as long as he has been here. Tryon, and hall, have show serious improvement.
we have the number 1 pass defense regardless of how bad people think they are
Regardless, I can casually name 14 or 15 better pass defenses without looking anything up. Pass defenses that wouldn't allow blown coverages week after week, and if they did, would fix the problem.

The best passers we've seen this year are Eli Manning or Matt Ryan, and I think everyone else in the league has played at least ONE quarterback/team passing game better than NYG or ATL.

This is not really Gray's fault though. It's on the players. Our corners are merely decent (Tryon is a better than decent NB), but outside of the Dallas game, our safeties have been atrocious.

I would like to see league wide stats on that for the last 5 minutes of games. We don't STOP anyone when the game is on the line.

I don't blame Gray either. He's playing what Blache is calling.

this board has become nothing more then one giant excuse. its not the players fault. its not Gray's fault. who the hells fault is it? they all need to be accountable. while our defense isn't top tiered, its at least as good as 8 wins. our offense is getting better, but Zorn is supposed to be an offensive guy. the west coast offense sucks. i personally hate it. and that was even before it came here. without the right pieces, its useless

I might disagree with that.

Yeah, our pass D relied heavily on ST.. DeSean would've been concussed long before Fletcher got to him had he still been around and they tried those same plays.

The truth about this secondary good or bad will be shown on sunday against the Saints. If we can contain them to a lower scoring percentage I honestly hope all the crap talk about this defense will stop.

you love the stats but this ain't fantasy football, all i know is our secondary gives up big plays and you can't deny that, i define that as suspect.

no one prepares for our games scared to throw, like they would if they were denver with bailey and b dawkins, they know if they need a big play they can usually get one
