Great news, now get Mason of the active roster.

Ok, now have you all seen how this works? I come one this site and put the Skins on blast for not having an outside the tackles running threat to spread out the defense. Basically I decensitized you guys ahead of time prior to the Skins picking up Alridge.

Had I not done this you guys would have been up in arms about the Skins not having a clue and not picking up another O-lineman.

JK ;)

This team needs speed not a smaller worse pass blocking version of Betts and Portis. Great move.

I'm not loving 10% of the roster dedicated to the RB position but I like Alridge. I can see Betts being shopped prior to the week 6 trading deadline and Rock possibly cut at some point in the season. If anyone was coming back, I was thinking Bridges.
I like speed also, and we don't have a back on the roster who can take a handoff to the house. Fumbles, every skilled player on our roster has fumbled at one time or another. Cooley, two times in one game last year, Portis twice in the Ravens game, one taken to the house. Jason Campbell maybe cost us the Giants game this year. Moss fumbled on Sunday, we don't even need to talk about Betts.

I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, let him play and see if he fumbles in a real game, if he does he's got plenty of company.
Sure, everyone fumbles given enough carries. But some fumble more often than others, and the Alridge that I have seen is a fumble machine.
Not really, why would they bring a 5th back in? Moss isn't getting it done and has lost a step. Betts has a goal line fumble problem but it hasn't been a problem this season yet. Why do you need a 5th RB? The guy has killer speed, and the newbie WRs dropped some TDs. Maybe they are looking to increase WR speed. Crazier shit has been tried before. They could put him as flanker and do some end arounds once in awhile, etc. I am just brainstorming here. Sort of dumb to get rid of Betts or Rock at this point.
So you really think he's gonna get even one snap as a WR? No offense, but you're in la la land if you think we have any WR aspirations for him.

Seriously, I agree. I watched the Dallas/Giants game and was actually supprised at how the Giants were playing them defensively. My ony assumption is that the Giants were afraid Dallas would break out on a long run on the outside. So they spread out their D-line to try and either force the RB back toward the center where they could collapse the D-line on them or use the side line as an extra man. Dallas found the center to be the Giants weakness and utilized it.

When the Giants played us they stacked the box between the tackles and essentially stopped our running plays. Now we have an outside threat and maybe the Giants will have to respect that and the middle will open up for Portis, Betts, or Mason.

3 similar RB's is over kill. I'd keep the best older RB (Portis) and the youngest (Mason) for the future. But I'm sure if anyone is cut it would be Rock cause they are using Thomas to return kicks also and he's doing just as good.

I've never seen him fumble in a real game that cost us a game yet, until he does I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm not going to keep knocking a guy I haven't even seen play in a real game.

He did start as a WR in college before he was converted to RB. We have 5 receivers on the roster, I don't think there's room unless someone is traded.

Bridges signed with the Cards.
I hope you were refering to JC as well? ;)

I mean he did fumble last week. :)
Well if you call that a fumble when you are attempting to pass and the DE knocked the ball out I guess thats a fumble.

and what are you using to jude this by? I ask cause I thought he only fumbled once, twice at the most. Can I call JC a fumbling machine? Hopefully he holds the ball with two hands.

or Cooley who almost had two fumbles during the Giants game (one went out of bounds and the second was a non-fumble because his knee touched the ground a millisecond before the ball came out).
We lose a lineman so we go and get a running back? Vinny Cerrato AKA the Great and Powerful OZ has really done a number on us this time. There is no rhyme nor reason to this pick. We could have gotten Pete kendall off the street for virtually nothing and he already knows the offense, so we go and get a guy who was just cut about 2-3 weeks ago? I am glad that we have Vice President of football operations looking to make our team better in every way.
There is a reason he is still on the the street. He can't play anymore with those bad knees. If he was so hot don't you think another team would have offered him a contract.

You could say the same about Levi Jones...as I said before, Buffalo has no offensive line and they haven't talked to him.
