Unfortunately, March has been the best time of the year under this owner.

I did not read all the post but there is no way of knowing how this will work out for the Skins. On paper it looks like he will be a major player but when the money starts rolling in is when he will get his first gut check. What he said sounds great but that was before he received his first pay check. Some people loose interest just getting a small deal so there is really no way to tell.

The skins have waited to address the O-line through the draft.
Take a look at the success rate of recent first round Offensive linemen in their rookie season.

2008
Jake Long - Miami
Ryan Clady - Denver
Branden Albert - KC
Jeff Otah - Carolina
Duane Brown - Houston

2007
Joe Thomas - Cleveland
Levi Brown - Arizona
Joe Staley - San Francisco
Ben Grubbs - Baltimore

2006
D'Brickishaw Ferguson - New York Jets
Davin Joeseph - Tampa Bay

All of these players made a big impact in their rookie seasons. I think the redskins are hoping to plug in a high profile rookie to boost the OL in a position that historically rookies are able to step in and play at a high level sooner then most positions.

Article saying that the Skins are so vested in Big Al that he can do what he wants to and he'll become our personal TO sideshow.

That's a bit of a stretch to say he's going to become T.O.

Sounds like a lot of haters out there, it was obvious everyone said our d-line was old and couldn't push the pocket I heard it all year ESPN, NFL Network etc.., and when our owner goes and addresses those needs then the hating starts ..Ex players seem to be more jealous about the money than anything else I thought Schlereth was going to bust out in tears when he talked about the money..The one thing is when the guy is on the field we will no it, and so will the opposition..
