Re: Media Bias
shocking that it's the abc/wapo poll - which might tend a little biased one way, another one, Rasmussen (that biases the other way), has his approval hovering around 48 or 49%
RCP POLLS does a great job of tracking the individual polls and running averages. AND when you focus in on the economy, the results show he's getting decent credit for "obama's economy" ( I hate cut and pasting tables on this site!!) also from RCP - President Obama's approval - 2014 :
Really, that is the best you can do ....an Obama deflection??? As I said before the media is not as bias as you are. |

As I said before the media is not as bias as you are.
It's not an Obama deflection, it's an equivalence, you want to go pull a Bush poll? You can't say a president is in serious trouble, when the president before him had an equivalently poor unfavorable rating at the same point in his term. Sorry you can't understand the simplest comparisons. You are correct about the fact that I am biased and I acknowledge my bias, let CNN and others who have waged all out media war on those in this country who believe in being fiscally conservative ideals and in US exceptionalism, acknowledge their socialist liberal leanings but they don't. And they won't. Have I ever declared myself non-partisan?? No. I hold strong conservative and libertarian beliefs, I believe the Constitution and the first 10 amendments are the greatest single establishment of government this world has ever witnessed. I think that the US government has simple fundamental duties expressly designed to LIMIT the federal power. AND, I believe that liberalism, and it's inherent lean towards socialism and federal power will in the long run doom that Constitution if enough people fall for the media chirping. |

I am all for your right to have different political beliefs than mine or anyone's. But your argument that I can't pull a poll that says 60% of American doesn't trust the president is BS . We are not talking Obama here ,this is all about trump and his ignorance and the fact that his cult is running out of excuse's for him, hell they are just ignoring his corruption at a great cost to this country but hey ........fuck America at least trump is president, right? |

Geez louise, every post of yours is the exact same. I wouldn't discuss what light beer is the worst with you. |

What is funny, is that his repeated mantra like calls of cultism are far more cult-like behavior than me, or anyone else, expressing our opinions in support of a politician or political policies. s/n, always remember he is a self proclaimed Republican so take everything with a grain of salt. |
Again you go the trump cult way and use "alternative facts". It would be wonderful if you expressed your political opinions but you don't you and chico both stand by trump and refuse to ever acknowledge anything he has done wrong..............never have you once said trump was wrong . Yeah it's a cult and there isn't any spin or insult you can through out there to change it. |

I actually understand how you could think that from the interactions on the Warpath, but it's not really the case. I am disappointed by the failure to create outreaches to LGBT community and the inner cities. I would rather that he push forward with marijuana legalization rather then letting the DOJ impede it. Believe it or not, I disagree with him about military spending, but bottomline, none of my disagreements outweigh the majority of the policies that I do agree with. As for Trump personally, I don't like him, and I wish there had been a libertarian voice that could have implemented the fiscal and regulatory policies I agree with, while also protecting every citizen's freedoms. The Libertarian candidate looked promising until their convention and his Aleppo fiasco. Back to Trump, as a speaker, I can barely listen to Trump's self-aggrandizement style, and I look at most of his tweeting/rhetoric as just that political rhetoric, not written policy statements. But I do agree with a lot of his fiscal and regulatory policies, and I defend him here on those, because those are important to me, and there are more than enough voices that throw out the negatives. |
Re: Media Bias
ROFL. At least Fox News is now admitting they radicalized Trump.

I'm currently reading Omarosa's book (about halfway through, brief synopsis "through all the red flags, I stood by him because he'd always had my back, until he didn't") but one of the interesting points I read was about the daily communications between the campaign team and Fox News. Fox News appeared to be one of the major sources of info that was getting distributed to the campaign team in their daily briefings. And we all know even to this day Trump and Hannity are pretty tight. |

"This Group Posed As Russian Trolls And Bought Political Ads On Google. It Was Easy" Why Social media is the enemy of the people too. In the summer of 2018, after months of public and legislator outcry over election interference, you might think it would be difficult for a Russian troll farm to purchase — with Russian currency, from a Russian ZIP code — racially and politically divisive ads through Google. And you might reasonably assume that if such a troll farm were able to do this, Google — which has said "no amount of interference that is acceptable" — would prevent it from successfully targeting those ads toward thousands of Americans on major news sites and YouTube channels. But you’d be wrong. Researchers from the advocacy group the Campaign for Accountability — which has frequently targeted Google with its “transparency project” investigations and has received funding from Google competitor Oracle — posed as Kremlin-linked trolls and successfully purchased divisive online ads using Google’s ad platform and targeted them toward Americans. The advertisements appeared on the YouTube channels and websites of media brands like CNN, CBS This Morning, HuffPost, and the Daily Beast. These in bold aren't honest, fair, and actively participate in dividing the nation for revenue. They run fake ads with their fake news. Here's proof again. |
Re: Media Bias
Well that's pretty shit Chico. If true and Google is just letting anyone buy ads and put anything up it really goes against what they're preaching about letting fake news spread.
I'd also like to add an additional point about how stupid, we, the American people (not just the right) are becoming if we actually believe those ads. It really doesn't paint people in a favorable light if they can't look at that nonsense and tell fact from fiction. |

Think about that...when people believe fake news it does not matter about how smart/dumb you are or if you are Republican/Democrat....So its an emotional response based on bias and what the person wants to believe. |
