So who do you think takes 1st and 3rd in AFC East?
New England 1st and the Jets 3rd. But it wouldn't stun me if NE struggled out of the gate this year. Most of the value of their entire team is tied up in a 34 year old QB. Indianapolis had pretty much the same problem last year, and they nearly missed the playoffs.
New England will be okay in the end, I think, because the AFC East isn't exactly treacherous. |
Buffalo. And by surprise, I mean second in the AFC East.
Jacksonville just doesn't have much talent on their roster. They've won with less, I suppose.
ballsy...Id like to get Rex Ryan to respond to this post please. I actually think the Sanchise and Shonn Green makes a jump to avg or maybe a smich above avg and the Jets take the division. Keeping Santonio is gonna turn out to be huge for them. |

Keeping Santonio is gonna turn out to be huge for them.
Well, I don't think Sanchez or Green is a good player, so if the Jets are going to rely on improvement from within to drive their 2011 through 2013 teams...well they really should have considered keeping more of their draft picks from the last three years.
They were all in on Asomugha. They did get lucky that Cromartie and Pool took less money to stay, which should help stave off the decline of their defense for a little while longer. |

Count me in among those who wish it would've worked out for him. Like you said, it sucks that there are a-holes in the NFL that take being elite for granted and one of the true good guys can't catch a break with the injuries. At the same time though, this is a business, and we've wasted a roster spot for 3 years straight, and it looks like that trend will continue this season unless he gets cut. I hope whatever his next plan is works out better than this one. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
I think the Bills will be improved, but they are clearly the 3rd best team in the AFC East, and even then that's a best case scenario prediction for them.

I think the Bills will be an exciting team to watch

Why, exactly? |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
I'm not going to bust out any exciting predictions about the Bills, I will just say I think they'll be a lot better than 0-8 to start the season.

I think they can potentially push to 9-7. On the cusp of the playoffs but not quite there. I think they'll be exciting because with Tyler Thigpen, Brad Smith they can be creative at the QB/Wildcat position. With Roscoe Parrish, Lee Evans, and Stevie Johnson they have guys who can stretch the field...and they have CJ SPILLLLLLERRRRR!!!! |
Reed plays DB the way Rabach played C!
Reed is a backup, Rabach was the starter, big difference. While in a perfect fantasy world your backups perform the same as your starter, it doesn't happen all the time. Especially when you go from Otogwe or Landry to Doughty. If Doughty was the starter, I could understand the complain, but he's a freaking backup. |
