Re: 2011 NFL Draft
U know what's sad is I really wouldn't mind Kolb but we traded a year to early with Philly
No way. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. On a brighter note, after seeing the highlight of Kaepernick, I like him. I like his athletic ability. He reminds me a lot of a young McNabb. I like his bootleg and scrambling ability. What do you guys think? |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
^ I haven't seen him play much honestly

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
I wouldn't necessarily say that. I think Quinn's just as versatile. But his versatility is hidden under the fact that he's perhaps the most explosive pass rusher in this draft. Ayers doesn't have that explosiveness so his versatility is emphasized.
Good explanation. Ayers sounds like a good player that didn't have great numbers during workouts, he might be there later in the 1st/early 2nd & sounds like good value. Might be one of the guys they would be hoping to get if they can trade back. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
BTW any trade rumors on CC lately?
|
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Am I the only one who is not even remotely afraid that the skins would take a QB at #10. I just can't see it happening - am I a fool?
|
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Yes you are a fool. Now what was your question :)
I don't think they'll take a QB at 10 |

Nope |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
So I know that we're not about giving up future picks, but it's looking very likely that Michael Floyd (following his DUI and indefinite suspension from ND) will be entering the supplemental draft this summer. Here's a guy who could be a late 1st/2nd round pick in the regular draft but could now be had for maybe a 4th in the supplemental draft. I'd be very very tempted to make that move.

Kid has already had 2 alcohol related incidents already, and you want to thrust him into a market like DC? This is not going to end well if we did make that move. 2 red flags already with this guy. Pass. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
As long as he can play like John Riggins drunk I'm all for it.
I am not buying the red flag BS anymore. All high character guys give you is a disciplined locker room, not x's in the "W" column. As long as he plays great on sunday he can hang out with Big Ben in Georgia for all I care anymore. 20 years of losing is enough. |

4th round pick is just the right price, since that's what we have from the JC trade. I know his off field issues might be a problem, but at that price it's more low to med. risk. |

That's not really 'giving up' a future pick, it's simply using it earlier. I liked the Jarmon pick a lot, hope he can become the starting RDE. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Yeah i view supplemental draft picks different then trading picks for vets or bundling picks to move up in the draft. I liked getting Jarmon and i wish we got Gaither before. I dont really know to much about the player, but if hes a good player i got no problem with it
