Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Pats don't have a QB they can win with. They need to fix that before next season.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
@John_Keim
In the last five games, Sam Howell has thrown for 1,510 yards -- most in the NFL. He also has thrown for 10 TDs during this time, tied for most. |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
One other thing to like about Sam, and I don't want to jinx him, is if you consider how many times he has been sacked and his number off fumbles is so low.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Second in the league in yards. Not too shabby.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Sam’s HC didn’t do him any favors with clock management around the int sequence

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Sam can call timeouts too. That INT was terrible and 100% on him. Good thing is there's not much else he did wrong, and he didn't dwell on it...just came back and played really well.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote] Yeah, and with more experience he'll learn that he can and should burn a timeout himself in those situations in future. Just tell the coach he didn't like what he saw from the D and take any fallout on the chin. |

He's definitely a mentally tough kid. And he consistently assumes no less than half the blame, even if we all know it's often not like that with our line for most of the season. Guys like playing with him. And I bet that's a huge part of it. Very impressive for a 2nd year player. It even rubs off on the defense: See J.A. talking about Howell. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Sam’s worked his way up from jiffy lube to discount tires.

LOL, you crack me up man. This post is actually the nicest thing you've ever said about him...if changing tires is in-fact a promotion from changing oil. One day, Howell, Jamf, and me will see some Glitties together. It's going to be epic. |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Here is a nice video of John Keim talking with Nicki Jhabvala about Sam Howell:

By the end of the year Jamf will have him doing transmissions. |
