Idk, in some ways this is a good thing. Irsay's dirt is already public, he wouldn't have said anything if he had something big to hide. Guessing it won't matter when the report comes out though.

I hear you on that. It definitely takes stones to speak up when you have your own issues. I think the major difference is that Irsay's transgressions are self injuring and not necessarily to the detriment of the organization.

Read and yes it does sound like it was written by a college drop out so I believe it is genuinely from Dan Snyder.

I teach a class on technique used by science deniers to push an agenda. It involves five components:

Fake experts: Presenting an unqualified person or institution as a source of credible information

Logical Fallacies: Arguments where the conclusion doesn’t logically follow from the premises.

Impossible Expectations: Demanding unrealistic standards of certainty before acting on the science

Cherry Picking: Carefully selecting data that appear to confirm one position while ignoring other data that contradicts that position.

Conspiracy Theory: Proposing that a secret plan exists to implement a nefarious scheme such as hiding a truth.

In those four short paragraphs Dan has utilized three of those techniques quite well bravo Dan, this was a text book example of denial technique.

Still not a fan of Irsay, it would be delightful if they were to take each other out so to speak. I am sure there are plenty of other owners who would like Irsay gone. Given what is already publicly known about Irsay, what may be hidden could be far more intriguing.

Right. And Irsay is the one who's mostly likely to get a DUI on the way home from the owners meetings. Too bad is wasn't Mara who put this out there.

Someone needed to stick their neck out like Irsay did. Can't help but think it wasn't an off the cuff comment but planned on the owner's part for him to do that.

It would not surprise me if Irsay has been designated the unofficial spokesman for some owners, because he's already a flawed character, and probably wouldn't be concerned about what Snyder may or may not have on him. I think if/when Snyder goes down swinging, he'd go after the some of the more outward wholesome type owners like the Maras or Rooneys.

It wouldn't surprise me if Wentz is out a couple of extra weeks on Dans orders just to ensure that Indy doesn't get that 2nd rounder, Snyder is that petty as previous reporting (milk under seat) has indicated.

Hate to say it but if Snyder goes after the other Owners he is done. If he was smart he would listen to Irsay and sell the team and take the money and run. Snyder has all ready said he has no dirt on anyone so now if all of a sudden he does then he is done. Washington being clean now doesn't clear Snyder of how it was under his Ownership.

Everyone hated Irsay when he crapped all over Wentz. Now we love him cause he craps all over Snyder? lol.

I'd feel better about this if it came from an owner w/ a better reputation. But he said it cause other owners are thinking the same thing.

Accurate. I was shitting all over him when he was shitting on Wentz after the fact. But he's been right - Wentz looked good in week 1 and hasn't since. Now I'm glad we have an excuse to sit him for the rest of the season.

And it takes balls to put your name on that quote - he did that knowing Snyder is gonna go after him but obviously all of his demons are public already. It had to be someone who also has nothing to lose - I'm guessing Irsay was chosen by the other owners who want Snyder out.
