The situation is actually worse than that. It would be more accurate to say they wouldn't care if they knew about it. Many, maybe even most, don't know about it.

The admission was part of the settlement, but they didn't have to say it on air which was the point I was trying to make (that they should have).

I actually really enjoyed Vice up into the early 2010s…then felt it was time to venture into politics and woke bullshit. That decision proved to be fatal

No one was more suspicious of the widely showcased newest ABC-Washington Post poll then ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos who questioned its accuracy live on air on its Sunday May 7 release. Stephanopoulos was suspicious given the inconsistencies in the survey which both purported to overwhelmingly condemn Trump’s likely illegal conduct supposedly showing Trump leading Biden in a prospective 2024 presidential election matchup.

Stephanopoulos was right to be suspicious of ABC’s co-sponsored survey as this poll was apparently designed for media drama but not an accurate public opinion metric. For just this reason, Robert Kaiser, the longtime managing editor of The Washington Post, this poll’s other co-sponsor told us he refused to showcase such polls in an earlier era calling it “manufactured news.”

ABC/Washington Post poll. Given their leanings my assumption is someone pushed this story because he wanted to pressure Biden not to run after all, which would lead the Dems to select a stronger (and younger) candidate.

Weeks later, when the House Oversight Committee presented financial records of members of President Biden’s family and their business associates receiving over $10 million from foreign corporations linked to China and Romania using a labyrinth of corporations, a massive tree fell. But virtually no one heard it.

The three “legacy” TV networks did not cover it in their news broadcasts and mostly ignored it on their websites. But taking the old “tree falls” to a new level, The New York Times decided to ignore the tree falling and instead proclaim renewed sturdiness and growth for the tree. Their headline: “House Republican Report Finds No Evidence of Wrongdoing by President Biden.”

The selective and slanted nature of news now often starts at its initial gathering point and continues in its final presentation to a busy public...."

I honestly remember the media being tough on the Obama…not on the level of W prior…but at least asking poignant questions.

Now media doesn’t even ask the questions, most willfully ignorant honest issues the public has or dresses up bad policiy or political mistakes . And it’s always one way.

Ray Charles could see Hunter's Indictment coming once the plea deal fell apart. Morons like chico are screaming about Hunter, he is not his Father and visa versa a loving parent stands with their child through thick and thin good or bad. Joe is going to do that, the right wing nuts will scream (like chico does) , I get it they want Hunter to pay for his addiction but do they want trump on trial for his crimes......fuck no.

“No one is above the law”

We have already seen evidence that Biden met with business partners of Hunter, including foreign nationals who had business with Hunter and the firms he represented. We’ve seen text messages to people connected to the evil shithole government of China from Hunter stating he was sitting there with his dad: First son Hunter Biden warned a Chinese business associate in a 2017 text message that dad Joe and his political allies would “make certain … that you will regret not following my direction” while negotiating a six-figure business deal.

That’s indisputable

So Biden lied about knowing, being involved, and meeting with hunters folks. That’s clear. It’s clear there was influence peddling.

Biden sold out his country to benefit his family. That’s corruption folks

Despite Republicans’ best efforts to neutralize the political impact of former President Donald Trump’s four criminal indictments by playing up the legal travails of President Biden’s son Hunter, a growing number of Americans say Trump and his family are more “corrupt” than Biden and his family, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll.

The survey of 1,665 U.S. adults, which was conducted from Aug. 17 to 21, found a 10-point gap between those who believe the Trumps are more corrupt (46%) and those who believe the Bidens are more corrupt (36%). The last time the question was asked, in October 2022, the margin between the Trumps (42%) and the Bidens (35%) was 7 points.

Likewise, a majority of Americans (53%) now say Trump and his family are corrupt, compared with just 28% who say they are not. Since October, that gap has increased from 18 to 25 points. It is now more than twice as large as the 11-point difference between those who think the Bidens are corrupt (45%) and those who think they are not (34%).

Yes. He did. He has completely divided the Republican party. Meanwhile the Democrats won the Presidency, the Senate twice. The House. He is the gift that keeps on giving. Luckily his base is too ignorant to realize this and they keep propping his losing ass up there. SD is not the first one to say this. It is a pretty common sentiment.
