I haven't posted in ages because I've been too frustrated to type anything more than Arrrgh. But I'm back because of RGIII. No more pipe dreams, we really have a shot because we really have a qb now.
Redskins General Manager Bruce Allen says the logic behind the huge trade to move up four spots in this year’s NFL draft is simple: There are two great players in this draft and neither of them will still be on the board at No. 6, but one of them will be on the board at No. 2. Obviously, the two players Allen is referring to are Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, and with the Colts almost certain to draft Luck, the Redskins will get Griffin. Allen says the Redskins are thrilled with that. “We fell in love with two players in the draft and one of those players will be a great Redskin,” Allen said. Allen said getting the trade done prior to free agency was important because it allows the Redskins to start putting together their team around the rookie quarterback they’ll add next month. That's hilarious.. Now you just gave some seventh grader a great story to tell at recess.. "I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to blowing their MINDS and then got banned.". I hope for comedic reasons you were watching all of his previous posts and waited until he got to 10 to ban him just to eff up his night. Getting banned on RGIII day, priceless. |

Apparently BA didn't follow Greg Blache's advise of not falling in love with rookies. LOL. |

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
I hope this works out because the Skins are irrelevant now and they will really completely be nowheresville for at least a decade more if this move flops.
I am really hoping the Colts get brain-lock and take RGIII so the Skins are able to draft a pro style QB in Luck. |
I think it's fair to judge it twice. The Rams got more than they ever could have dreamed of getting. Even if we look back on it and think: man, that Bradford is a stiff, they would have been better off with Griffin -- which we might -- they got enough first rounders to replace Bradford if need be.
You can't really judge this trade by how well the Rams draft with those picks anyway, just by how much Griffin would have improved their team over Bradford.
I know what your saying but The NFL is a QB league. If RG3 is decidedly better then Bradford then the Rams made a bad trade. That's the bottom line |

If Griffin is decidedly better than Bradford then we kicked ass. |
