The annual QB carousel
I can’t stand that diva. I hope the Ravens D breaks him to bits week 1.

Rodgers said this season is likely his last.

If this comes to fruition, I can see Cousins as his likely replacement; if Kirk is available in 26.

Falcons would be killing themselves if they keep Cousins beyond this season.

If Rodgers flails this season, as well hope and expect, I don’t see Tomlin going for another older retread whose skills have dropped off. They’ll prospect elsewhere.

Tomlin might no longer be Steelers coach, if they fail to win a playoff game.

Would be wild if Tomlin never had a losing season…until a certain diva came to town.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't think Rodgers necessarily fails, but I don't also don't see him winning a SB there either. I'm just dumbfounded fans don't see how much this guy has regressed the last couple years. The numbers don't lie, and his ain't so hot recently. Unless it's a disastrous season in Pitt, Tomlin likely to stay.

Justin Fields was carted off. Hopefully it was minor but if it's something major; could this be an opening for Kirk Cousins.

Looks like Fields is going to be fine: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45811986/jets-qb-justin-fields-suffers-apparent-leg-injury-camp

Call me in the minority, but I still think he could be a decent if not good consistent NFL starter. Glad to see him get a real chance. Kid was incredible at UGA but know that doesn't matter at all now.

Some ppl take years, as long as they get the shot and keep working it can happen.
Some ppl take years, as long as they get the shot and keep working it can happen.
It honestly feels like the Jets are his first real chance. He didn't have much to work with at all at Chicago. He was always behind Wilson it felt like at Pitt. The Jets job is all his. Jets oline is projected to be good. He has some help with Hall, Wilson, etc. Interested to see how he does there.

Sam Howell is on the move again. Looks like he flopped in becoming JJ McCarthy’s backup. Vikings traded him to Eagles.

He's probably at his last chance of showing that he can be a decent back up QB. Sucks for him.

Jamf don’t get your hopes up, we are good at Quarterback. Sorry pal.

Lmao! My man Jamf hated his guts.

Looking like he was right though. Howell will be working at JiffyLube soon enough.
Vikings signed Carson Wentz.
Wentz has become a professional journeyman qb. Howell is well on his way. Howell being on 4 teams in such a short career is a classic journeyman path.

If Daboll wants to have a chance of coming back in 26; he needs to start Dart now. Dart is the better qb. Frankly, I’d cut Russ outright. Winston is fine as a backup and you know Russ will be disgruntled sitting on the bench; so I’d cut him.

I feel he has a good chance of ending up with the best pro career of all the qbs in this year's draft. Kid just throws consistent dimes and moves the ball.

Jaxson Dart looks to start against Sunday's Giants game against Chargers. The Giants need to see what they have with him, or the next regime will have to draft one next year. Russ is probably done after this year. He'll probably retire. Can't see another team waste their time signing him.

IMPO this is a big mistake. The Giants problems are more then the QB. If Dart gets hurt or gets creamed out there they could break(Derick Carr) him.

They could give Jameis a chance and keep letting the rookie learn from the sidelines. But it just doesn't work like that in today's era anymore, even if it's actually better for the young QBs.

Remember when people were suggesting rolling with Howell and trade down for Alt? Did not age well

Jamf is my official new QB scout. Hopefully it's moot for another 10 years, but he's my go to guy. I like his easy to understand ranking system:

1. QB
2. JiffyLube

It check out

JD5 1
Mariota 1
Josh Johnson 1 but worked at Jiffy Lube 2014-2017, 2019-2020 and 2023
Sam Hartman 2 but his milkshake brings all the girls to the yard so he has to stay on practice squad so he can be on sidelines
